- Mark McGaw was a Cronulla Sharks legend who played for NSW and Australia throughout his career. He tells us how he became Hammer of the tv show Gladiators and how a brawl with Mal Meninga in a Rugby League charity match happened
Mark McGaw is definitely my favourite NSW player of all time and Iam a QLDER and for him to get a chance in the Kangaroos Jersey is no fluke or by chance yes he had to work for it against Gene Miles and Mal Meninga but you had to admire him Tough rough and friendly and he drew people threw turnstiles and something you can't accuse him of is been a Bad Sport or Sore losser. But he is still top bloke who has a great family.
AND ADAM MOGG IS MY FAV QLDER😂😂😂
The funny thing is that he gave big mal a good ole touch up
Sparkle’s
Why is it that old, retired rugby players, always look so much tougher than when they played ??🤔
Albeit, every joint is knackered 😢
Never a sharks fan but a big Sparkle's fan. Very tough player but fair and underratedly skillsful player. A big part of the golden age of Rugby league in the 80s .
He gave big mal a hiding, I'm a queensland supporter but Mark Mcgaw is a bloody legend, great fellow on and off the field.
I loved Mark Mcgaw but in the 80’s . Me and my friend Karen use to go to Cronulla Sharks gym and we knew Andrew Ettinghausen . I hope Mark is enjoying things he loves most .
Hated that try as a Queenslander of course. But all you origin players get respect from me (except maybe les boyd) so good on ya mate.
Bloody loved this man as a young sharks fan.
Absolute legend.
Good on you Sparkles.
Great player and seems a great guy
Scored a great try at Wembly
What a great story
Big Mal met his match that day.
Stats tell us all otherwise 😂
@@Will-nb8qk Don't know about the ''stats'', but looks like to me that Mal lost that fight.
