I'm just trying to figure out why he puts the outside CBs as BPD and then talks about how he wants them to move like WCB... instead of just putting them at WCB.
@@thatissomeBS I want them to dribble with the ball wide when uncontested as BPD, not move forward into wide areas when we have the ball on their corresponding side of the pitch as a WCB would
@@Daniel-hs9fh TBF there is also a decent chance he would think the player was a right wingback, at this point I think Jack is also training himself to be a right wingback...
Josh Harrop! Many FMs ago I was playing against Spurs as Man Utd manager. We were losing 4-1. I got annoyed with my striker and took him off for Harrop. Harrop went on to score 4 goals in 20 minutes and we won 5-4. It was may all time favourite FM moment.
Calum Hulme a massive signing- been a staple of non league saves for a few fms now, good even up to championship level really. Loads of other names in there too Ive had at non league level. Looking forward to this save
This actually excites me. Any time I take over Liverpool on FM (which is every FM tbh), I only sign English players players young enough that they will become HG at Club. It's quite liberating to get 5+ years into a save and have absolutely no issue registering squads for Champions League etc when the entire squad is home grown. Usually start to get some funny comments in the media though.
I swear Jack had Morgan Williams in a park to prem save before. Can't wait for the save. Louis Annesley used to play for Dundalk in the League of Ireland. I assume he was released due to Dundalk financial situation
Callum Hulme got me to the Prem with York in a previous FM playing as a regista, you can go far with him. Expect you to get promoted this season with that squad
George dowling was my standout performer in midfield for Bromley in national league. 13 goals and 11 assists in 32 games as cm on attack. Kido taylor-hart and micah mbick got most of my goals
Love the idea of the save jack! One positive I will say is if performances go well on the field there’s a few decent price ranges on your players already which would help finances until club becomes more established for gate reciepts to help boost the finances
Had Thorndike and scored 23g and 10a in National League North and 13g 10a in Nat League but sold him when we got promoted to League 2. Great player loved using him as a mezzala.
tabbing over from this video to my 3-4-1-2 with a regista and no wide attackers and smiling serenely. i've won. alright real tactical advice: - a flat back three with all defend duties can be a bit scary, you might want to go with a covering defender in the middle flanked by two stoppers - a regista and a segundo volante might also leave you a bit exposed, you might want to decide on one or the other next to a defensive specialist like a ball-winner. - defensive wingers goated - if you want to get josh harrop into the team, see if you can slot him in as an attacking midfielder behind two strikers and have those two stay wider
I had Dowling and Johnson in my non-league Bristol United save. Johnson in particular got loads of assists at RB as I worked up through the leagues. Nice to see them again here 😊
McGlynn's backstory is he was born in England so qualifies, but grew up on a border town and actually went to school in Scotland. He can trace his family tree all the way back to a monk that was a survivor from the infamous Lindesfarne Viking raid in 793
I am playing along with you. Brought in a few loan signing and am trying to play a possession based tactic. 2 losses 4 draw 2 wins In my opening 8 games so far. Excited for this challenge!
I LOVE BRAINTREE in fm because somehow its always the 1st job i usually get whenever im playing a new version of fm. Alfie Payne is my non league legend!!
The tactic is giving Ruben Amorim 3-4-3 vibes.. but it’s also giving Ichsan’s individual PI’s.. Super excited for some more WTS FM content anyway it’s been too long!!
I have Thorndike in the championship, is a great shadow striker and one of my best players in 28/29. I am intrigued to see how he fairs as an inside forward for you though eventually, could definitely work.
I have Joe Rose as my GK in my Chelmsford City road to glory and hes been very good. Best example i can think of is Us vs Yeovil we definitely should have won Yeovil had an XG of 3 and we won 2 - 1
You should save tons of budget from not having to scout the entire world when you reach PL level. And you can probably only sign the English players already playing in the Championship or PL or representing England and playing overseas.
Jack, if you want fairly cheap English players, check out the USL Championship in the US! There are really good English players for the National League level for cheap!
Jack is back and he's going to play English football with a legendary club that won 5 FA Cups in the ancient times but they only sign English players and not Non-English players because it's their tradition. This save is gonna be fun for sure 100% while we wait for FM25 in five months from now.
Fun save idea! The Dowling experiment might not work though, as he has low versatility as one of his cons. Or at least it will probably take him a long time to learn the new role.
While disappointed you didn’t (cant) do a USA pyramid save game, this is a really fun concept I look forward to keeping up with. Let’s get to wandering…
I wonder who the stadium is going to be named after when it gets built? Especially with no legends or icons as a "new" club. Will we get a narcissistic Chairman name? A lower league icon who rose to prominence? Are they in the squad? Or will WTS be forever linked to an random sponsor? Can't wait to find out!
I used something similar to this formation but I used a box with two attacking midfielders and annelsey was my captain and used as a centre back generally but his utility was useful
Having an all english team and playing 5 at the back instead of 442 makes me sick
5 at the back makes me sick under any circumstances
Utter woke nonsense

Calm down Mike Bassett
Not even 10 minutes in and Jack is training someone who can't play DM to play DM. Never change Jack
At least hes not decided that hes a right back

Apparently Scott Bratt was Head of Football and Sport Development at Crawley Town and is currently the Assistant Coach at DePaul University.
His brother, Craig is the media man at Exeter City too
I’m just Wandering how far we can go! Here’s to the next wave of Sonny Bests, Shevtzovs and Juan Pablo Da Silvas, Brexit version

I think adding in English only staff would be fun too.
Hopefully we get transfer special episodes as the series goes on. Those are the best kind of episode!
Very much the plan!
Regista? Segundo Volante? I thought this was an English-only save.
Buzzing about the new series Jack, it's gonna be a tough one!
Lol i was confused by the timestamps here but makes sense you're a member!
This actually excites me.

Had Pharrell Williams in my Scarborough save this year, was a baller all the way to league 1, club legend for me
I swear Jack had Morgan Williams in a park to prem save before. Can't wait for the save. Louis Annesley used to play for Dundalk in the League of Ireland. I assume he was released due to Dundalk financial situation
Timo Quamina is a quality LB. Sold him to Sunderland for just over £1m after two seasons when down in league 2.
the best fm rebuild series on youtube is back, so happy you are back on PtP content jack!

Same save as I’m currently doing, although mine is in Bilbao/park to park style. Being Northallerton and only signing Yorkshire players
Had Thorndike and scored 23g and 10a in National League North and 13g 10a in Nat League but sold him when we got promoted to League 2. Great player loved using him as a mezzala.
Play Arlo Doherty in goal, I went to the same High School as him.

This is such a great series idea Jack. Very much looking forward to the story lines that will inevitably develop!
I had Dowling and Johnson in my non-league Bristol United save. Johnson in particular got loads of assists at RB as I worked up through the leagues. Nice to see them again here 😊
Finley Thorndike now plays for my team, Glentoran.
He's actually been playing very well and has some MotM performances.
sammy robinson plays for hereford in the national league north, he is soo good, unbelievable player
McGlynn's backstory is he was born in England so qualifies, but grew up on a border town and actually went to school in Scotland. He can trace his family tree all the way back to a monk that was a survivor from the infamous Lindesfarne Viking raid in 793
As someone born in Leytonstone a stones throw from Orient. They are definitely in east London not north!
Nice to see Josh Harrop finding a new home, used to work with his sister many years ago and met him the odd time
Sammy Robinson is a goat. Became a late bloomer for me at Edinburgh FC and was awesome.

James Milner the ultimate utility man
Yeah, I didn’t expect a Liverpool man going for Ashley Young…
Stuart Dallas. FPL legend. Two Leeds legends at that.
I am playing along with you. Brought in a few loan signing and am trying to play a possession based tactic.
2 losses
4 draw
2 wins
In my opening 8 games so far. Excited for this challenge!
Sellars playing as an Inside Forward on the left with no right foot is probably not a great idea tbh.
I LOVE BRAINTREE in fm because somehow its always the 1st job i usually get whenever im playing a new version of fm.
Alfie Payne is my non league legend!!

Those player instructions were being used by myself and others long before the World Cup!
Overton was a one season wonder for me in National League with Yeovil! Was only due to be a backup loan from Peterborough
Louie Annesley! Never got a chance when he was at Blackburn.
Pharrell Williams was a monster for me in the National League on my Frickley Athletic save
I have Thorndike in the championship, is a great shadow striker and one of my best players in 28/29. I am intrigued to see how he fairs as an inside forward for you though eventually, could definitely work.

Good luck with this new series!!! ❤ will be watching every day
Welcome back! Will start watching again. It's a shame you've started this high up in the leagues but fair enough, it'll take ages
Nice to see Jamal Fyfield, former York City cult hero and Blue Square Betman/Vanaraman trying to ruin Jacks day. Excellent stuff.
You should save tons of budget from not having to scout the entire world when you reach PL level. And you can probably only sign the English players already playing in the Championship or PL or representing England and playing overseas.

Ive used both tino quamina and george dowling and ill be honest, quamina was shocking and dowling was decent at best 😂
Quality idea Jack, I used to do similar with Hereford FC but as youd expect, it gets difficult when you reach the prem
Woohoo, a new series. We are happy in Sydney, Australia
Nice to see Park to Prem with a few obstacles, I think you've proven how easily you can fly through these leagues at this point lol
11 pace = stupidly slow
12 pace = good pace
okay jack
Jerell Sellars did indeed retire, I saw the injury he suffered at Hitchin playing for Redditch - snapped his Achilles 😢
I'd love for you to become England manager in this save!!!
Amazing idea, would love to see it happen. Let's hope the vacancy opens up when his manager has a high enough reputation to get it.
@@lucaefor2471 Most definitely!
Sure you signed Morgan Williams in an older park to prem save. Looking forward to tuning into the series day in, day out!

I enjoyed Tokyo 23 save, i will enjoy this one too. Nice first episode, keep it up.
Excited for this. Great way to refresh the format
Seeing Callum Hulme makes me so happy after he helped me to the championship from the VNLN him and Kirby

First WTS FM series I'm following from the very start. Let's goooooo.
Did not expect to be that excited for a new series without a new game.
Park to prem is back💀💀😤❤🔥🔥🔥
Excellent concept, can't wait to see how it plays out.
That youth coach is amazing, great find. Hope he brings in some wonderful youth players
Great to see a new series. It would be awesome if you could continue F1 manager and fm together.
So looking forward to this searies! Love the FM grind with lower tier clubs 🤩🤩
Great first episode, i can't wait to see how this save unfolds.
The new set up of the first episode was good
So excited for the new series! How far will we get before '25 releases? Let's go!
Asymmetric formation in the national league with a regista? Wild. Sign Timmy Abraham and you'll fly he's a bagsman down there
Always welcome a new series Jack!
Reminds me of when I tried to manage Chivas back in FM22. I imagine this is gonna be so much worse though.
so happy to get another park to prem type series :P
I really wanna see how the scouting is gonna be set up, I always have difficulty in Japan getting good scout reports for players just from Japan
Play overton, within 2 months he will be 4 star in your squad and hes a pure goalscorer in this match engine
Love the idea for the new save! It will be fun to watch :)
I've started a save in the 20th tier of English football with Stafford Argyle, promoted 3 times so far and working my way up the leagues 🤣
This is going to be a great series. I can feel it in my bones
had thorndike at oldham this year, pretty decent at pressing forward, not so good as an attacking mid unfortunately, developed well though
Surprised you didn't pronounce them as Bran Tree :D - Excited to see what you can do with these
Looking Forward to this one
I used something similar to this formation but I used a box with two attacking midfielders and annelsey was my captain and used as a centre back generally but his utility was useful
Excited for this series
Nice to be back!
I used Thorndike last year and he smashed it until League One, top player. Hulme was a very good squad player and Hagan was not good at all
Good luck on the new save!
Video being exactly 20 minutes long is extremely satisfying
Went to school with Clampin, Very realistic to see him getting boooked early on
I already know this series is going to be a belter! Up the Wanderers!
Beautiful football and 7 at the back are oxymorons
Looking forward to the series
Spencer Adams is Guyanese though🤔
2nd Nationality English
What happens if like an irish player comes through the youth intake? Is that even possible?
Not possible
10:04 He's up all night to get lucky!
Lets go!! Cannot wait for this series!
Third park to prom in a row, fired up for this
Thank you Jack,
Love Park to Prem :)
Can’t wait for march for the youth intake with these facilities!🎉
