You broke out of the main keys and played a almost Pentatonic scale for your inspiration, you can so tell it doesn't fit the main chord progression and yet works so fantastically. That is exactly the art of color that people like artie shaw and Kenny Ball painted with in their blank canvas. As someone used to say to me, "remember son, the chords are only a guideline, not a creativity killer". In a way, you played major over a minor, and it worked fantastically!! Usually I don't comment before finishing a video, but that caught my ear so much that I had to congratulate you on it. Of course that's only 1-8th of what I have to say. I'll say it at the end of the video, this one is packed with exciting different parts!
