Awesome video! Btw, the render queue lets you to actually use tokens and then be able to use relative paths same as C4D for instance, ex: "[projectFolder]..\..\04_renders\ae\[compName]-[dateDay]-[dateMonth]-[dateYear].[fileExtension]" (at least in 2023, but I think also in 2022)
@@Abdo.A I had a very hard time to find the name to look for it actually, but if you make a new out template, you will see that there's an icon in where you can "add property" to the path, that's where. Then, the "../" and all was a matter or trial and error.
No you're right I could have mentioned it when I mentioned increment saving projects rather than keeping all comps and versions in same project. But it's a paid script and it's apples and oranges (IMO)
As a Post Producer, all I can say is you are doing God's work.

Nice one! Is there a Tut for this in Aftereffects?

This is a great tip. Had no idea, thanks
You didn’t talk about the plugin True Comp Duplicator - if you’re versioning, it’s essential for duping all linked subcomps

Bes
T way to explain
i didn't finish watching yet, but I"m really hoping you do a Ben Marriot "We always label our layers" thing.
Yep! Tip 3. And I also threaten doing a whole tutorial on it, because there's lots to get into with that
Love number 4
Yes! Glad you're on board with that. Also, I tried my hardest to slow down the VO for you on this one. I'll keep it in mind for future vids too
@@TheVideoShopLondon Thanks very much. Highly appreciate it.
Straight talking bloke. Get sick of seeing all the over the top personalities in after effects tutorial videos
Thank you and yes, I'm also massively allergic to the delivery of a lot of motion design tutes out there
