Checking Out The Most Expensive Ramp in Manhattan

- A few months ago, we got an email from a reader that caught us off guard, inviting us to skate a private mini ramp in the basement of his apartment building located in Manhattan’s extremely pricy Waterline Square neighborhood.
To get the most out of the experience, we brought along Staten Island’s own Leo Heinert to throw down some tricks to push the ramp beyond the basic rock and rolls and axle stalls.

This is fucking rad. Homie's paying 70k a year to learn to skate transition lmao.
Whoever designed that mini did some great stuff. Love the large flat top especially, you never see that.
Extension looks so perfect I instantly wanted to skate it. Switch 360 no comply.
I am always complaining about my local skateparks not having enough deck space to learn how to roll in on. I just might pay that $6250 a month to skate a ramp with a decent deck on it lmao
yes!
ya know what. good for him. if had that money for rent, slaved away my day as a consultant, damn right i wouldnt want to share a skatepark mini w a dozen 13yo in big boys either
did you even watch the video? "most people bring their children here as daycare" lmao
Homie seemed super chill/humble about it, props to him being open about it to share it on Jenkem. Making it in NYC ain't no joke.
If homie ain’t struggling to afford it then it’s worth it to have a private ramp
This is just that kinda stuff I love Jenkem for.
that's tight. if homie can afford 6k in rent he must be crushing it. love to see him picking the spot to learn transition. sweet vid. jenkem shreds
Shit, I shouldn't have turned down that AWS job offer.
Dude absolutely shredded that mini ramp, wasn't expecting all that.
I’d just be doing ‘There Will Be Blood’ reenactments in the bowling alley.
💀💀💀
rich ramp officially broken in. Leo destroyed it.
The artwork on the walls is amazing and that's how real skaters tear up a ramp like that killed it
The art is horrible
Get Gonz to come skate this!
The craziest part of this vid is the Arizona tea grip
As soon as he said AWS we all thought the same thing
This tenant is good with numbers, Leo you went crazy, see you soon in the Big.
I skated this ramp while shooting the tv show Billions in that building
I love that its mellow. Looks fun to learn new tricks on!
We need to find a way to get some pros in there to do some edits! Not enough skating and I’d love to see that ramp get worn in!
I’m off today and have been watching Jenkem/Thrasher videos for about six hours now.
Also it was a treat to see a Russian Boneless.
"Alien Workshop?" 😂
what a gem of a ramp.... shame it never gets skated
Shout out to Leo for making sure this ramp didn't die a virgin.
2:42 that hotdog cart i thought was real for a sec... 3D mad
So Fn Dope! Another killer video! 👊🔥🤘
the apartment is probably insane looking ngl
Not necessarily that insane - $6k/mo in those types of building often only gets you a 1,000 sq/ft 2-bed/2-bath
I pay 6k a month to steve berra. we are not the same.
Sounds fake!
Tom Penny pays me $6025.39 a month for my vibe.
There’s levels to this ish, lil’ homie.
@@googleedwardbernays6455 to be condescending in the comments section, and flex about your micro-influence? No
Way!
It blows my mind that real people spend 72k a year RENTING lol loved the skating though, mans ripped it up!!
buying a house is overrated
HOA fees and property taxes on that would be thousands a month alone on top of probably a $1 million+ mortgage. With rates where they are, it’s potentially thousands less to rent per month.
@@MattSezer Exactly
living in NYC is sick tho
@@MattSezerno, more expensive actually, $6k rent in NYC will typically rent you a place valued at around $1.5M.
haha im glad he felt comfortable enough to share what he pays for rent. I pay $463, what does everyone else pay?

Jenkum is everything i need and more
your brought the right guy!!
Nice video Greg now come to Montreal
jenkem 📈📈
Yeah he tore that thing up
imagine moving into a condo with a private mini ramp, and you're the only skater. i need some cheese and crackers... that was some serious destruction by leo.
Cheese and Crackers was filmed in Manhattan in the mid 2000’s with Song & Haslam
@@ChristianRaymondFilms Daewon skates my local in CA. I see Haslam on occasion as well...
@@user-ph1xw5bs1r that’s rad they are good people, definitely lifers
keep up the good work. loving your vids...@@ChristianRaymondFilms
The vibes in that room appear to be off.
Headphones and ramones/ jamc supermix solves that dilemma
The lighting is weird
Fire
LEO IS THE TRUUUUTH fk yes. killed that ramp. they should hook him an apartment.
Probably needs first months rent. Last months rent. And a 10,000 dollar deposit to even be considered
homie is bringing in probably 20k a month if not more
Naw, the former mayor of NYC outlawed required prepayment & deposit of more than 1 month's rent each. $12k and you can move in.
homie is banking 100% he got the bag
leo ripping!
Alexis had to hop on the kit fashitsho 🥁
Well that spot is officially blown......
Fuckin baller! That ramp is amazing
He skates so much like Brent Achtley.
leo!!!
Goddamn that ramp got broke the fuck in at the end of the video.
I bet his apt is tiny
LEOOOOOOOO!
Can’t pay to be good but at least it’s seeing some use :)
Yes you can, many contest skaters had parents with private skateparks or at least makeshift ones
@@malice4422anyone with money can buy/ build park or obstacles. It all comes down to how much time you put in
Homie is tryna learn, can't knock that
@@GettingHyphy gotta start somewhere! Some people start in a private indoor miniramp lolol
homie is trying/helping out Jenkem he valid quit hating cause he got a bag
This was sick! Damn... 6 racks for rent... I pay 6 hundo and I thought that was steep
GET THE GONZ HERE
The Haves and Have Nots is so internet
The fact that this even exists is awesome.
they just got a ps5 chillin in that bitch wtf 😭
Looks like a prefab ARC ramp, pretty cool
Let’s throw a mini ramp jam there! I’ll put it together just give me the word
$6025 a month. This world is going over the edge.
could cut your rent in half and put $3000 towards a house out of the city. new yorkers hate building equity
Dude shredded that mini.....
you already know the homiie living there about get blown up during the winter to skate this thing lol what a legend though, being a consultant for AWS is no joke.
❤ build a bear /ramp , keen look at this
ive skated there
The iced tea guy rips
Good for him man, he worked hard now hes young and has a crazy salary and a miniramp on his building. Also he looks humble as fuck
Everyone like damn $6000 a month?? You could use that money to buy a house in a place nobody wants to live!
damn Leo fucked it up
That ramp looks beautiful, but 6K a month is crazyyyyy 💀
I couldn’t even rob enough banks to live there.
Aws? Alien workshop? Lmfaooo
He’s crazy
Idk what’s worse paying 6,500 a month to skate a mellow ass mini ramp or the Arizona ice tea print grip
Good video tho 👍
Homie is sponsored by arizona
That nyc skater was hc mode on mini
Yeah, that ramp is fuckin sick aF‼️ And that dude was destroying it. And only 6k a month!?! Sign me up 6k a month from now...
6k a month..........???
Strata fees must be soooo high with climbing wall, swimming pool, bowling lane and mini ramp!!!
??? Melbourne Australia had same thing inside a clothes shop but with added mini bowl to build up speed.. BUT ramp exactly same
30 years ago ❤
I'm not old 😂
Damn. Wasnt expecting him to tear it up that hard. Geeze
So, consultant for AWS… making how much exactly in a year? 😮
Current AWS "Consulting" job listings on-location in New York ranges between $101k to $313k/year.
Assuming rent comes out to 1/3rd of his monthly expenses around $200-225k
Well, at least you can finally learn to skate. Most people don't have that luxery of even a place to ride here in the NE U.S.
They need to repaint the walls it looks too kid playroomish I think just a basic black how it was before.
My rent is 125 a month
That Leo Heinart dude skates really odd .. it’s like lightweight try hard/ forced Steeze
Site Design built the mini ramp according to a NY Post article
This should have been a 2 hour video
Holy shit I can’t believe that exists in a luxury building
6k! Song ID?
Can someone please tell me what apartment building this is! Im moving to NYC soon and this is legit.
I got you, I work in real estate
6025 is absurd! Even if you're rich, that's a whole month salary
Also work doing aws as a consultant. Thats around a weeks salary or less depending the clients.
@@mkonji8522 interesting. i wasnt very informed on how much aws consultants make 😂 oops
He could rent 6 2-3bdr houses a month here 😂
Damn, I’d love to get some photos of this for my NYC skate spot documentary project.
okay
leo rips
Rich people dont want to break their neck😂
So what happens if actual skaters wanna come and skate it and not just be used as a daycare.... can heads just roll thru?
The amount of comments thinking leo is the tenant is wild
I used to work here and have a pic when none of the art work was there
I don't think I ever spend 6k in 2 months
$6k a month is nothing to have your own private mini in the basement in manhattan
yo the narration format is sounding more vice every clip..
dont go down that route boys
Why having money doesn’t mean you know what to do with it!!!
Wtf, this is unreal
@jenkemmag LET REVISIT AND DO A SEGMENT AND TALK ABOUT THE SOMA WEST FLY OUT I DID AND LETS TELL THE STORY 🙏🙏
nope.
