- Today I'm gonna see if I can get a streetpass? In this video I will find out, since streetpass was my favorite 3DS feature.

@@alessandro-sr7ki i think the ui is good, my switch boots up very quickly but with my themed 2ds it can take up to a minute
Or they could make a mii plaza app, that would be amazing. Even better if it worked with the 3ds.
@@tezcanaslan2877 Yep, I don't consider the Switch UI to be bad, it just feels a lot more plain and "boring" than the Wii or 3DS UI

I remember around 2016 if you took your 3ds to mcdonalds it would give you like 5 or 6 random streetpasses. Anyone remember this?
Yeah it had a thing where streetpasses would be stored there and if someone walked by, your streetpass would be stored and then you would recieve all the streetpasses
Now I wish I was joking when I said that this almost made me cry. I’m 14 now, and the 3ds has been a HUGE part of my childhood. This brings so many memories. Thank you for making this.
I remember getting my 3DS when Nintendo released Metroid Samus Returns, The Nintendo Switch was already out but 3DS was still going strong.
And since I had to use the subway for work every day I met a few people on Street Pass.
Nintendo should bring back that feature in the next generation.

This was amazingly nostalgic. I really hope you made those two guys' day because watching this video really made _my_ day! I should take my New 3DS to town, next time I go, just for a laugh. (I live in a rural area, so even when the 3DS was king, I'd was lucky to get, like, three or five StreetPass hits per outing.)

I actually got a Streetpass yesterday I’m a mall! I was in the store and one of my siblings said the guy at the front desk had a 3ds with him. I walked up to him and I saw the 3ds. We also had the same 3ds XL galaxy version!

I was at Canada's Wonderland during a trip in Summer of 2022, I got off of one of the rides and sat down to eat at the table where Me and My Friends were sitting.
When I opened up my 3DS while eating, I saw a Green Light. I was actually super surprised to see that I got a Streetpass in 2023, I thought something like that would never happen again because barely anyone had a 3DS anymore.
I broke my 3DS a while back so I can't play it anymore, but it's a memory that still has me surprised to this day.

Living in Alaska throughout my entire life has made getting Streetpasses a pain. I was ~6 years old when I got my 3DS and I’ve had it for over 12 years, but I’ve had a whopping 4 passes, 3 of them being in Washington. I get that I was young, but the amount of 3DS’ here was incredibly sad.
I grew up in a town like this. I literally never got a street pass the entire rime I lived there save for one kid. It was a typical "sports centric" town.

I miss streetpass so much, there were so much social people out there and people were friendlier, and before u say im just a jid born in 2017,lemme show you proof:
-3DS has a 3d mode (obviously)
- it has built-in games inside the console like facecatcher and AR Cards (sadly i lost them or maybe i didnt even have them)
Last year I carried my 3ds with me almost every day. And I actually got a tag! I was so excited lol
Now I feel like a moron. I grew up in the countryside and moved to a city in 2015. However, I think I never thought of actually having my 3DS with me there even though it's obvious. Well, better late than never. Thanks, man.
not me believing that the switch would have all 3ds features and more... how naive i was, now... i see reality as it is... and its HELL

When i go to vacation, i pick always my 3DS, its literally a tradition i have StreetPass on Castle of Versailles with a british and so many in Disneyland Paris and Parc Astérix

I got a StreetPass at Disney World in December 2023, it was at Hollywood Studios and it was near the pizza place called Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano

In Poland it's almost impossible to get one... I have 6 StreetPass Miis in Mii Plaza, and 5 of them are from previous owner's friends. I met one guy with a 3DS at a game jam.
Wondering how many StreetPasses I'll get on Pyrkon / Animatsuri / Hikari / any anime & Japanese gaming convention when I'll take my 3DS with me.
I remember when I was playing kingdom hearts 3D getting a lot of street passes at a anime convention in New York
ik lt might be different since the 3ds was like still being supported then, but even in a medium sized town (about 18,000) in maine, i was always able to get a handful of streetpasses as late as 2018
to be fair most of my streetpasses did ultimately come from larger malls out of my hometown

With me though i went through a lot of 3DS's as when i was a kid, i had some anger issues and with that came at the cost of a lot of DS's, my current 3DS New XL which i bought like a couple years ago doesn't even have my school friends on it anymore in Streetpass plaza cause duh, it was 13 years ago that i met them

That does include some netpasses but I also got like 6 real streetpasses passing by people last month alone.

Streetpass is flawed for all the correct reasons. Even though music & graphics are outstanding for 3DS standards, the overall experience is nowadays lame compared with its infancy.
Special Miis are distributed only online via Spotpass and cannot be met through normal play. They're now considered valuable as gold.
I guarantee to anyone that the people who developed this were getting paid peanuts.

How many streetpasses do you have? I had over 2000 on my olde 3DS but I had to sell it during covid since I was struggling financially. However, I have over 100 on my moded 3DS!
