Looking to get back into flying drones. I have the dji goggles v1 and the goggles 2, amd also I use a spektum radio. Would this drone be compatible with what i have? I mostly flew BNF or DJI drone's that are rtf . I have a couple of the older beta fpv drives that worked with my spektrum radio, but not sure anymore what works with what lol.

The mini 4 pro uses a li-ion battery instead of the lipo batteries used on fpv quads. Dji drones don't have much power as they are designed more for relaxed cruising and cinematic work, so there's no need for high current draw which is the case for racing and freestyle drones.
Won't be easy to pick between this guy and the Femto. Did you have any issues with the VTX cutting out? According to BetaFPV the FC should keep the Air Unit powered until 2.85V.
They need to forward mount the camera with a tail balance battery bay. square the batteries up as a stack both forward and back to counterweight. this will balance and extend flight times. PNP the motors for duel types for a quick change to a more aggressive torque less flight time motor.
Nothing will stop you from using larger 1s battery’s they all have the same voltage range. You just cut the battery bay and put in a little strap instead for thicker battery’s. They advertise 5.5 minutes on a 550 and you could probably get a 650 and get almost 6 minutes. It wouldn’t be hard to do. Just keep in mind it is already heavy so it will be even less responsive.
Maybe If you will do frame modification and put 750 mAh. But with so heavy battery, and so heavy VTX it will be flying brick. I'm able to do 5.5 - 6 min on Walksnail with 550 mAh, but WS has much lower power consumption than O4, almost by half. O4 in 1S whoop is definitely not meant to be use for long flying (well it is designed for 3.7V min, so you need converter). If I had to guess, I would say that O4 in the same setup with 550 mAh will be 3.5 - 4 min of calm flying, around 3 of more intense. I know that Betaflight advertise 5.5 min but it sounds unreal. Maybe if you cut throttle by half and hoover in one point.

Doesn’t the PNP one also come with the RLRS because I noticed yours had a red RLRS antenna already installed. If so how would you set it up to work with my ELRS TX? Maybe that would be a great future video? 🤞🙏
The matrix aio is designed for the HD system unlike many of boards people were using in the beginning that were getting the low battery issues. It should not be a problem here.
Well there are no miracles. Same as with WS and HDZ 1S builds. These boards not only add weight, but also draw a lot more power than analog VTX. This is what really cuts into your flight time. It appears that 2S is the way to go...

And yes on paper they should be better. But this one the way it comes i love it. Just because of the super quality and penetration. I feel a lot more comfortable with this65. Than my lighter analog tinywhoops. I mean maybe cause i take into consideration the goggles. For digital i am using the g3. And for analog i have the skyzone 04l. And they’re not bad. But nothing compared to dji g3. So maybe it depends on your skill level.
No it cannot, these air units can only be paired with its respective FPV controller (The O4 pairs with the DJI FPV Controller 2/3 depending on the goggles you have)

I'd buy these for they could get the flight times up past 10 minutes. the stated times are hover, the actual times are much shorter. what they need to do is add 2 battery banks on top on either side of the stack in series. as soon as the primary drops to 5% the top kicks in.
Yeah but then it would be so heavy it wouldn’t fly well at all it’s already on the high end of the weight and is noticeable. You just buy More battery’s and you can have infinite fly time if you got enough battery’s and 2 of those 6 battery chargers

You can use your goggles 2 with this one but cannot use the remote I m afraid. You can get a radiomaster pocket or similar with built in elrs tx.

Why didn't you try 4:3 mode? Seems like it gives more usable fov.
It doesnt change the FOV. 16:9 just stretches the 4:3. Kinda weird.

This canopy with the O4 camera mount are available separately on their web site.
You could buy the now capon standalone, but watch out for the FC. You cannot use old FC without a 5V@3A BEC. The O4 Lite is NOT an 1S VTX.
