    The mindless clapping at 1:44:16 disturbs me each time i hear it. I do however, applaud Wright Sim on a brilliantly created visual sync of the ATC recordings, inter-agency calls, personal calls, and other communication from that terrible day. The obviously massive amount of dedication and effort spent on this is well-reflected in the finished presentation. Outstanding work!👏🏽

    Not trying to be mean but the repeating of the same sounds of crying/frantic passengers of Flight 93 is a bit much. Obviously we know they'd be screaming and upset. But it's being replayed over and over the exact same sound. Hard to listen to.

    When Betty ONG called air control they should have notified all the other pilots to secure their cock pits immediately they had more than enough time for this, the lack of knowledge and just not getting the information in quickly then react to it just blows my mind the other planes, and people could have been saved IMO , the second tower would have not been hit, the worthless F16's who did zero during the whole incident is SAD! the U.S. is always the slowest to react...Crazy!! RIP.

    • @janefelix3821
      @janefelix3821 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Betty Ong did call anyone in power as there were no protocols for flight attendants on who to call when there was a hijacking as in all prior cases the hijackers used the pilot's comms to communicate and then the air traffic controllers would notify the FBI. Ms. Ong simply called people she knew at the airline who were working that day (she had to memorize those numbers) and eventually they contacted air controllers, but that took a while.

      @@janefelix3821 They have strong controls in place for all flight staff and have for years, this was not the first hijacking. Traffic controllers could have sent the cockpits alerts. The Military should have been the fastest response.

    • @janefelix3821
      @janefelix3821 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@raxstinejrogers515 Not true. While hijackings had been around since the 1960s, air traffic controllers became aware of hijackings when the hijackers used the comms in the cockpit to make their demands known. The military was rarely involved in these situations as the hijackers usually had the pilots take them to a secure location where the FBI would then start negotiations once the plane landed. Keep in mind 9/11 was something not planned for. Most staff were trained to keep the situation calm and let the hijackers think they were in control as not to make them fire off their weapons. Flight attendants were not instructed or expected to call anyone as the controllers would find out from the hijackers directly what was demanded.

    • @raxstinejrogers515
      @raxstinejrogers515 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@janefelix3821 It is true. Traffic controllers all flight staff have continued protocol's and safety courses of "what to do" in the case of a hijacking, That is why the first response by the traffic controllers contact was the military, My point is with all that in place yes, they could have contacted the planes piolets to make them aware , and to ground them then. They contacted one plane to tail , and watch one of the planes that shut off the communication, so... they failed to do what they train for regularly for these types of attacks.

    Not to be racist or make any assumptions, bravery comes in all shapes and sizes, but I noticed that there wasn’t any large number of black people on the planes that day. Not to mention, none of the planes were really at capacity. But if there were a lot of hood 🥷 on that plane, we’ve would have never let them get close to that cockpit, shyt would have went ⬆️ on those planes.
