Hello I hope this reply can help you, or to be used as a guide, if it is not too late. You need to visit the Mercedes dealership with your registration and your State issued ID. Request for the Key-code from the parts department and they are obligated to give it to you. Once you have the key code you will need a licensed Locksmith who will do the rest for you. Good lock.

I'll have to reinsert the key fob a few times before itll finally turn and start BUT at times the Panic Button will go off in the process. Am I doing something incorrectly

@@harisyoung4110 I’m 85% positive it was the mini flashlight keychain I added to my keys that kept pushing on the trunk open button but I took it off and I don’t have that problem anymore but I did notice that every button was more sensitive ever since I got a new key fob
Humf…my 4 month old Mercedes key fob comes off the valet key very easily. The dealership has received other complaints, and to replace it costs over $600 . This is my 2nd Mercedes and it will be my last.
+jamil canaan u can not get e mercedes chip key online and make it work on your car. in fact you can not get a new key from anywhere without a prove of ownership of the car. the reason is that the car programs the new key and if they let u buy one and not program it in the dealer you can be working as a valet, lets say and just create a key for any mercedes u park and use it for theft later once key is programmed for a certain vehicle it can never be used on another car. they are not reprogramable

From what I understand German cars don’t offer that feature.
