This video leaves out just a few things, but, wow, you saved me! I had a friend borrow my 250 and brought it back with the housing melted to the point that oil could not get to the bar even after a clutch and oil pump replacement. This took me several hours over a couple of days, but everything is good now. Thanks so much!
Thank you for inviting me into your shop and sharing your knowledge with the YT community.

Hey Matt - thanks for this video, with it I was able to get my MS250 back on the road!
First time watching your video.Just want to let you know. That piece can be repaired with Plastic Welding Our fiberglass repaired for me to do.
Is the 024 a crankcase engine like the 026 ?
Jajaj to remove the little clip use a SMALL SCREWDRIVER
Is there a certain website you get all your replacement parts at?
So what's up with the engine housing? What goes wrong.
AAA.thanks.
What would cause this to happen?
Probably just a defect in the way it was made
To remove the spring use the correct tool not a screwdriver
U don’t need to take the plastic from the intake manifold
At 30:58 you skipped a bunch of steps. I would have liked to have seen this part. Great instructions otherwise.
Never ever take a flywheel off that way!
how would you pull it? Honest question.
