to be fair one of the main reasons Dan killed Keith was because he thought that he was the one who poisonned the bottle and set the fire at the dealership, so in his mind he was probably just getting revenge. I mean i hated dan with all my heart for killing keith but i ended up loving him so much later on, he had one of the best character developments of the entire show

Seriously though. How do all these random ass unimportant Lucas and Peyton scenes get spots, but everything else surrounding the school shooting doesn't? That was one of the most powerful episodes of the show, and not just because Dan killed Keith.
This show has been probably the best show I've binged watched, and at the end of every episode during the credits, I could feel my heart glow of inspiration. It bought out the best in me. It teaches you to fight for your dreams, believe in true love and have faith that it's out there waiting for you, have a magical and positive outlook towards life.... Because the characters were written with an enormous amount of depth. Watching them on screen touches your heart, and makes you feel that life is beautiful with it's adversities and difficulties. Most importantly this show teaches you to be the best version of yourself, and achieve those dreams.
Season 4 finale is my #1 no matter what. The way the whole gang reunited and Nathan and Lucas played a game as mouth did the commentary? Clearly to show how things had changed from the pilot ep. It was a great season finale, especially since they did the time skip after that
Thank god for their soundtracks. I remember when Lucas came though after his heart stopped. Non Believer was playing and became one of my favorite songs.
The music was as important as the basketball and the relationships in this show, it comes through all the time both in the soundtracks and in the overall story. The names of every episode is even a song title fitting to the episode, each one.

What about when Brooke drowns during the thunderstorm trying to save Jamie’s life? Oh, and when Haley has a breakdown after her mom dies from cancer? I mos def shed a tear after those scenes.
Still can‘t believe how Lucas could confess Brooke his love, telling her that HE is the guy for her and running after her for so long JUST to tell Peyton that it‘s HER that he wants. OTH ended after Season 3 for me.

I think this show went a little beyond your typical "teen drama". It had some amazing moments. I nearly avoided it all together at first but gave it a chance and ended up loving it.

santinizzy No no no. Rain was always Naley's thing. It doesn't matter who you shipped, that is fact. It started from season 1 when he apologized to her and they kissed, and then he later proposed to her. And then as the show continued, even if they weren't in the rain, they made references to it. The only thing that is left up to preference is whose kiss you liked better for that particular rain scene, and in my opinion, Naley's was better, but to each his own. But rain was definitely a Naley thing.
Blame Mark Schwahn for SH Hilarie and Danneel to the point they both had to leave to escape it. Without Hilarie there is no Peyton. And Chad's contract was up for renewal and i guess he wanted to leave with Hilarie. Behind the scenes other than the strong bond between the cast that still survives today, the toxic work environment for the women was extremely difficult.
What about whitey confronting dan in season 6 finale? You can see anger in whitey yet sadness later on when dan wants him to shoot him. His hug for dan gets me

The most memorable thing that happened during the school shooting was the death of one of our most beloved characters. As for the Naley scenes, they were a cute couple and a sweet storyline, but Lucas and Peyton were epic. When they finally got together, it was a really big moment.
WHO WROTE THIS?!?! What about Jimmy shooting himself?! The rain storm episode in Season 8? Brooke and Lucas at Haley and Nathan’s wedding? Peyton’s mum dying? And so many more emotional moments that defined this show.
This show was Dawson’s Creek, Melrose Place style. It had a great run, but I will always support season 8 finale should’ve been it. That shot of Jamie literally becoming his uncle Lucas’s shadow, was perfect to end the series with. Season 9 is entertaining, but highly dispensable.
This show, will always my favorite show of all time. It's crazy how much I love this show after all these time. I've seen many shows and love so many of them but none of them will ever beat this one for me. The cast will always have a especial place in my heart. Was heartbroken after I heard about Mark, he created such masterpiece and did some thing terrible behind it, couldn't believe it.
One of my favourite scenes ever was when Karen finds out Dan killed Keith and goes to visit him in prison and spits in his face. Epic! Such good acting in that scene.
How do you have Lucas and Brooke in the rain even as a runner up but not any of Nathan and Haleys rain kisses, so many things wrong with this list imo.

School shooting, all the Naley moments, Nathan getting to the NBA, Whitey talking about Camilla, Whitey saving Dan from death (maybe it’s a reason you’re still here son) Brooke and Julian’s wedding, Julian saving Brooke from the bridge, Dan talks Quinn out of killing Katie, Dan rescue Nathan after being kidnaped, and the most epic one (after the school shooting) Dan finally tell Nathan why he killed Keith and then they play basketball without counting points, (I cried so hard in that scene it’s not even fair!) Their are so many more I probably missed please feel free to help me fill the list in the comments down below. ❤️
My favourite relation is between Chuck and Chase. Although they were side characters I found their shared growth and development very touching. Chase, the lost men who, in essence, had no real joy in his life and Chuck who was growing up with a single mother (and as we found at an apparently violent although mostly absent father) with very low confidence and coping with it by being a little prick :) But when Chase beat up the dad I couldn't believe it. I was at the same time proud of his character and extremely disappointed in him for not being able to contain his anger. Chuck lying to the police was a nice touch too. However, when Chuck came to the airbase and admitted he lied to the cops, thanking Chase and begging for his forgiveness, the friendship (for who knows what time) showed it's authenticity. At that point it had been challenged by the re-emergence of Chris Keller but Chuck and Chase prevailed. That friendship was so pure 🤗
Naley was way better than any other couple in the show, though I agree with number one. Dan, in my opinion, is one of the best characters of all time. Really complex. They managed to make you hate him while still making him sympathetic and compelling to watch. Nathan will always be husband material (even more than Lucas). This is a severly underrated show.
Well that does it I'm gonna dust of my One Tree Hill DVD's! I was so hooked on this show! Season 5 was my favorite! I watched that season over and over lol

I know there’s a lot more bigger moments in the show but I think when Keith met Lucas after he (Lucas) has his heart attack and shows him an Alternate world where Lucas was a worse version of himself and how by being a good person he has affected others lives in big positive ways. And before Lucas chooses to go back to living it is revealed to him that someone can help him uncover who murdered his uncle.(Keith)
The moment where Psycho Derek kidnapped Peyton should be higher on the list. That episode was actually scary. Glad the moment I wanted to be most on the list was number one!!

Lucas didn’t start entertaining Peyton again until things were really done with Brooke … she broke up with him and kept it that way. In s3 he was all about Brooke so I don’t see that as him loving Peyton when she was right there and available and he told her how insanely in love he is with Brooke.

How is this list on point? There isn't a single Naley moment, and they glossed over the school shooting in like one sentence.
lexi219 They may have just mentioned the shooting in a couple sentences, but they did make it the number one spot. The most memorable thing that happened during the school shooting was the death of one of our most beloved characters. As for the Naley scenes, they were a cute couple and a sweet storyline, but Lucas and Peyton were epic. When they finally got together, it was a really big moment.
This show is why I have such high standards in shows. I expect quality and well thought through shows. Something that's hard to find now a days
WHO WROTE THIS?!?! What about Jimmy shooting himself?! The rain storm episode in Season 8? Brooke and Lucas at Haley and Nathan’s wedding? Peyton’s mum dying? And so many more emotional moments that defined this show.

This show was Dawson’s Creek, Melrose Place style. It had a great run, but I will always support season 8 finale should’ve been it. That shot of Jamie literally becoming his uncle Lucas’s shadow, was perfect to end the series with. Season 9 is entertaining, but highly dispensable.
This show, will always my favorite show of all time. It's crazy how much I love this show after all these time. I've seen many shows and love so many of them but none of them will ever beat this one for me. The cast will always have a especial place in my heart. Was heartbroken after I heard about Mark, he created such masterpiece and did some thing terrible behind it, couldn't believe it.

One of my favourite scenes ever was when Karen finds out Dan killed Keith and goes to visit him in prison and spits in his face. Epic! Such good acting in that scene.
How do you have Lucas and Brooke in the rain even as a runner up but not any of Nathan and Haleys rain kisses, so many things wrong with this list imo.
Their are so much missing from this list. School shooting, all the Naley moments, Nathan getting to the NBA, Whitey talking about Camilla, Whitey saving Dan from death (maybe it’s a reason you’re still here son) Brooke and Julian’s wedding, Julian saving Brooke from the bridge, Dan talks Quinn out of killing Katie, Dan rescue Nathan after being kidnaped, and the most epic one (after the school shooting) Dan finally tell Nathan why he killed Keith and then they play basketball without counting points, (I cried so hard in that scene it’s not even fair!) Their are so many more I probably missed please feel free to help me fill the list in the comments down below. ❤️

My favourite relation is between Chuck and Chase. Although they were side characters I found their shared growth and development very touching. Chase, the lost men who, in essence, had no real joy in his life and Chuck who was growing up with a single mother (and as we found at an apparently violent although mostly absent father) with very low confidence and coping with it by being a little prick :)
But when Chase beat up the dad I couldn't believe it. I was at the same time proud of his character and extremely disappointed in him for not being able to contain his anger. Chuck lying to the police was a nice touch too. However, when Chuck came to the airbase and admitted he lied to the cops, thanking Chase and begging for his forgiveness, the friendship (for who knows what time) showed it's authenticity. At that point it had been challenged by the re-emergence of Chris Keller but Chuck and Chase prevailed.
That friendship was so pure 🤗
Naley was way better than any other couple in the show, though I agree with number one. Dan, in my opinion, is one of the best characters of all time. Really complex. They managed to make you hate him while still making him sympathetic and compelling to watch. Nathan will always be husband material (even more than Lucas). This is a severly underrated show.

There were so many cliffhangers in each every episode of One Tree Hill that I could not miss any single episode.

I mean i don’t remember when lucas and peyton got married, but i do remember when nathan rushed inside the school without even thinking about it when he found out haley was inside and his speak to duke..
I know there’s a lot more bigger moments in the show but I think when Keith met Lucas after he (Lucas) has his heart attack and shows him an Alternate world where Lucas was a worse version of himself and how by being a good person he has affected others lives in big positive ways. And before Lucas chooses to go back to living it is revealed to him that someone can help him uncover who murdered his uncle.(Keith)
There should have been more Brulian and even more Naley!!! And Clay and Quinn should have definitely been on here too.
The moment where Psycho Derek kidnapped Peyton should be higher on the list. That episode was actually scary. Glad the moment I wanted to be most on the list was number one!!

I still get hurt watching that rain scene of brooke and lucas, because i know, lucas loves peyton and my heart breaks for brooke. Fortunately, brooke got julian in the end. I'd say, he deserves her more. 😍
Lucas didn’t start entertaining Peyton again until things were really done with Brooke … she broke up with him and kept it that way.
In s3 he was all about Brooke so I don’t see that as him loving Peyton when she was right there and available and he told her how insanely in love he is with Brooke.
