    Hello Dr. Scherer,
    I suspect that Implant placement in the already edentulous mandible or maxilla will not lead to increased alveolar width. Socket augmentation at the time of extraction seems to improve (retain width). Do you have any recommendations for those of us out on the front line dealing with patient expectations after irreversible procedures? I enjoyed your Eureka presentation. Thanks
