He has lots of metals in his room, thats very reflective, and lots of variating shapes that in no way can help the absorbation of sounds. This room is thus not close to a perfect musical enviorment. Instead of making uneducated guesses, google the matter. There is lots of good examples

I'm a fan of classic rock and metal mostly, but stuff like this impresses me because the musical talent still shines through even with not so traditional instruments... I think you've got a great ability to create a hook and a melody and not everyone in the electronic music genres gets how to keep those essential things in the equation...
