I also think it’s so valuable to hear about the value of our work! When I started out in church the only place of value was in church and the value of the minister. It was years later that I realised God was with me in my work and that work was my ministry, that all my life was ministry and valuable. Again,thank you both.

It's always the return trip for me! That lovely song that says "I have a heart that's prone to wander…" I come back quicker these days though… And I don't go as far as I did before noticing .... It doesn't seem as if I'm punished as much for my character defects, as I am BY them!

Good afternoon 🌞 whew, tough to get out of the way & recover…oddly I can’t recall a time at work, (maybe too many,😮) but as a mom, I put effort to stop in the midst of deboning chicken or cleaning the toilet when one of the girls would say, “hey mom, you got a minute?” Earlier days as a mom, I’d interrupt them and say “just a minute…” then when I remembered to get back to them, the response was “Never mind, forget it”. That phrased broke my heart-that time will never come again. For me that is the worst epic fail. I seek him first daily just because I know my weaknesses 🤦🏻♀️…
