It's enough to make a grown man cry. Fo4 builds is how I found y'all, and it got me super into the lore (Fallout and Elder Scrolls). Now, I've consumed days, if not weeks, of your content and played more builds in all the games than I could count. Also super obessed with Morrowind and Dunmer and can't stop playing

Your Hand of Almalexia build found me when I was at my lowest point, just like he was. Something about it inspired me to tough everything out and keep going. I watched it religiously. Even now when things get frustrating, I remember the story about how he kept the faith. Thank you all for making that and inspiring me to keep the faith 💖.

I'd add that he takes quests involving children VERY seriously For example, Billy in The Kid in the Fridge he'd protect with his life wasting Bullet and his slaver thugs with a sadistic grin on his face And the kid Austin in the Vault 88 quest Hole in the Wall he'd give the cure without hesitation For two reasons: 1) he firmly believes children are the future 2) after seeing his child kidnapped he will do everything in his power and whatever else it takes to ensure no other children suffer

@@Calamortar true but its not the same as Fallout 1 “FEV is the main antagonist” and in Fallout 2 its “This is a major part of Enclave’s plan involving experimentation and the Main Evil MacGuffin” Then in 3, 4 and 76 you do get a lot of fun lore (for example, the Institute strain seems to come from the experimentation done in post war appalachia, not the 87 hyper mutation serum) but I want to see like… idk some sorta Mad Scientist making super soldiers and super monsters make it an eldritch hive mind and I’m IN

i completely agree that its been long enough that a desire to play Fo4 is totally present and with time the game feels fresh again. very excited to try out this build! i remember back when I played, I always thought it would be cool to be a tech savvy character who uses robot companions and non-companions like the protectrons to their advantage but i could never quite figure out how to make a build around that. if its possible, i'd love to see it!
I've wondered what a player version of Frank Horrigan would look like, even making my own in F76 utilizing blades, Heavy Weapons, as well as his appearance. Good stuff as always for an immersive second opinion.
After 5 years! Yessssssssss. Pls do more, the quality is immaculate. Skyrims great but I've really missed fallout vids. Would love to see a remastered scientist build. Also, for anyone playing this, i advise to get the "America Rising 2 - legacy of the enclave" mod, it has quality voice acting and adds the enclave as a joinable faction (that you can finish the game with) as well as having it being seamlessly integrated into the world. It truly feels like it's a vanilla faction and why it was not added in the base game is beyond me.

I've been trying to get back into FO4 but couldn't really find a build I haven't already done, so I'm really looking forward to trying this one out

A couple days late, but good to see the return of the Fallout 4 builds. Time for some new inspiration as I've been sticking with a Total Recall-like backstory for quite sometime. Will have to give this a watch later on.

Runs with decked out X-02 and a plasma flamer lone wander style. Won’t take general minutemen role out of distrust. Thinking about Brotherhood as primary faction.
You aren't the only ones who took a hiatus of several years, Scott. I haven't watched my subscriptions in nearly 5 years, just fell behind and then life cluttered everything. This is the first subscription video I've watched in ages, and hopefully I can find the time to steadily get caught up. I'm glad Fudge Muppet is still around and making great videos (I'll admit I'm tempted to reinstall the game and redo my first character, your Gunslinger build) and I look forward to what else you guys have in store.
I really appreciate the level by level guide, I understand it must have been tedious when you were doing these every couple of weeks, but it really makes a difference when I'm referencing the video as I'm playing the game

Its awesome to see you guys doing Fallout 4 builds again. Its been a very long time. I came up with builds of my own in the meantime. Currently, I made a build based off of John Wick but its a work in progress. I've also made builds of my own. The Flametrooper, The Trench Raider, and The Power Armor Hunter.

By the way, Cait's companion perk actually doesn't work the way it reads. according to the Fallout wiki. Trigger Rush actually 'triggers' when your action points reach below 25%, not your hit points! whether this is a bug or not is not stated but I have tested it and that is actually how it works.

You genuinely made me love & appreciate Fallout 4 after writing it off when I played it on day one (I just loved Fo3/FNV way too much). I’ve always wanted to see a classic Fallout 1 esq Vault Dweller build in FO4. Using leather armor pieces & vault suits. Charisma would have to be high so you can try to talk your way out of most situations, but also utilize the 10mm pistol as your weapon of choice as well as rifles. He’s just a good guy trying to help out the wasteland on top of finding his son. Maybe it’s too similar to a lot of other builds or too basic but it’s always interested me.

I want FEV to come back big in Fallout 5 as a plot point. It’s never gotten the love it deserves in the Bethesda era
They used it a little bit in 76, some cryptids like the Snallygaster were made through FEV experimentation
Bethesda uses it in limited quantities in the creepy parts, I don't know if their vision of FEV would be a good idea for the main story
