damn bro, I just did it, as first time user of futureRestore, I must say it was fairly easy following the steps in this video, I downgraded from 14.4 to 14.3RC cause that was the one I had saved, and everything went just fine also restore the backup from 14.4 to 14.3 as your other video and no prob. That was great. all that on an iPhone X.

I have been jailbreaking since the iPhone 4s days! never used future restore therefore just gonna use it now currently I'm on 13.5 on my iPhone X, right now if I upgrade to 14.3 I will have no face ID and passcode after jailbreaking with Checkra1n, therefore I'm sticking on 13.5 as of currently. Watching all the way from Australia. Just got my iPhone 12pm few days before as well, glad it's on14.3 out of the box.

What do you mean by do anything to storage? If you’re confusing it with succession, then you’re wrong. It will restore your device just like iTunes, you will see no difference, you will even get the software updates.

I was on 14.3 jailbroken with unc0ver but after that I messed it up and had to do an iTunes restore. Now I'm on 14.4 and want to jailbreak again. Is there a jailbreak for IOS 14.4 (I'm a Windows user) or can I get back to IOS14.3 without a jailbreak. If there's a 14.4 jailbreak for Windows could you supply a link to a vid? Thanks

@@iMAT iPhone X but I got my answer on Telegram but now stuck when Futurerestore does not recognise that the phone is in recovery mode when it actually is. It just says "Unable to place device into recovery mode from Normal mode"

Unfortunately no.
The basic reason to build futurerestore was that you should stay on a lower version and save blobs. And when a jailbreak for the newer version is out, you can restore to it even if it was unsigned. Like many people used my video who were on iOS 13.5 and they kept saving blobs and they had blobs for iOS 14.3. So when unc0ver was released for iOS 14.3, it was unsigned. So they used my guide to use futurerestore to update to iOS 14.3 which was unsigned at that moment and jailbreak with unc0ver..
I tried this and it failed. My error said “failed to match build identity” how do I fix that. I’m on iOS 13.7 iPhone 11 Pro upgrading to iOS 14.3

There is no way to set nonce value on iPhone 12 on iOS 15.6, that's why it will not work!

No TSSSaver website also provides option for iPads, click on iPhone under Device section and the select iPad from the list!

Several questions:
A10 iPad - can I directly Upgrade from 13.5 to 14.2 (My latest saved shsh2) or Must I Downgrade from 14.4 to 14.2?
A11 iPhone - I saw some hints that 14.2 blobs will also work with futurerestore restoring, might be implemented in the next version ?
A10 - You can directly update from 13.5 to 14.2.
A11 - some restores to iOS 14.2 are successful also. So if you wanna give it a try then go ahead. Because even if you are forced to update to iOS 14.4, you can still jailbreak using Checkra1n.

I have a XS Max, so it was slightly different for me, but your video was mostly helpful.
Below is how i did it, maybe this information might help someone. (Disclaimer: I'm just a simple end user like most, and not a developer or creator. This is just to share my experience)
1. Since I'd iPhone XS Max, on 13.5 with Uncover, i didn't do the nonce setup with generator & new term app. I skipped it completely (i think during jailbreaking iOS 12, ihad used chimera to setup nonce)
2. I downloaded all files as directed in this video (future restore master 189, ipsw for xs max and my shsh blobs for 14.3)
3. I did not have macOS, as i dont use macbook. I have windows 10 laptop with macOS catalina running using VMware.
4. (This step is only applicable to ppl using VMware like me) in VMware settings - change the USB setting to USB 2.0, and set the usb default connect to machine. This is very important.
(There is another way to run macOS on windows by iMAT which should be helpful to ppl who do not have VMware)
5. Do the steps as mentioned in the video - open terminal add files fill in the command etc
6. Like mentioned in the video, it gave error to me during installation - twice. But i repeated the steps and it worked. Didnt need to panic.
Once all done yoir device should be running 14.3

@@dankrell8672 they can be downloaded from tsssaver (there are other ways as well, but i used tsssaver) but only if you've managed to save your blobs earlier when the os version was signed by apple. If you plan to save blobs for 14.3 now, unfortunately you wont be able to do that as the iOS 14.3 is no longer signed by Apple.

No. it does not work like this. You have to use the SEP file of the latest signed iOS version. And right now iOS 15.5 is the latest version and its SEP is not compatible with iOS 13.

Hey, I've tried to downgrade my iphone 8 from 14.4 to 14.2, but before I tried, I've gotten stuck in a jailbreak 14.2 and the unic option was restore through the iTunes the 14.4 version, now when I tried downgrade, I have been trying find the blobs through the tsssaver.1conan.com/v2/ but I only found the 14.4 version nothing more. Do have any idea where can I get the earlier blobs version or if I don't need them to downgrade...can someone help me. Sorry my bad english.
You can only save blobs of a version when it is signed. If you didn’t save iOS 14.2 blobs when it was signed, you can’t do that anymore as mentioned in the video.
If I enter the command setgenerator in netwerm I got the message: Command not found. I checked my blobs with text editor and it already says 0x1111111111111111 am I good to go? I am currently on 13.5 on iPhone X with Checkrain.
You have to install GeneratorAutoSetter tweak first!
You should’ve added explanation in the written guide that if futurerestore fails then just enter the commands again. I’m now on ios 14.4 because it failed and I had to update... not happy at all

Downgrading from 14.4 to 14.3 is nonsense because it’s still the same system ..
People are mostly downgrading for a jailbreak. Also iOS 14 to 13 is not possible. Even if you could, because of sep incompatibility you couldn’t use passcode/face ID/fingerprint.
Plus, iOS 14 is way better than iOS 13.

@iMAT Maybe is better but the phone is lagging as hell my friend, on iPhone X and any other it’s not the same smooth experience as Apple used us to. iTunes can’t do it. The firmware is unsigned. You have to use blobs to restore to unsigned iOS versions.

Hi, as mentioned in the video you can only save the blobs of a version when it’s signed. You’re a little late to futurerestore :)

That’s not why futurerestore is used. The basic reason to build futurerestore was that you should stay on a lower version and save blobs. And when a jailbreak for the newer version is out, you can restore to it even if it was unsigned. Like many people used my video who were on iOS 13.5 and they kept saving blobs and they had blobs for iOS 14.3. So when unc0ver was released for iOS 14.3, it was unsigned. So they used my guide to use futurerestore to update to iOS 14.3 which was unsigned at that moment and jailbreak with unc0ver..

Just stay on iOS 14.7. This is your best possibility for a jailbreak.
