Nice series ...and helo is the best dupe..the true pain loving dupe , to the last episode. Giving dupes life threatening condition without killing them is the hardest part.
Given how much went on in the series and the fast pace of the editing style (that I like a lot), you may want to make a final base tour before the end of the series. I think people may appreciate it :)
Oh man, I still don't understand how you managed everything in the game.. This game is so hard, oh my.. It's overwhelming.. And you know, even after just a few hours of stopping due to tired playing, suddenly I want to play it again.. Gah.. What's wrong with me.. 😩 I like your gameplay btw, it helps me too
The pain game loop :D i get it. What helped me is focusing five starts just on cycle 1 to 35. Or crash a few colonies to test what can go wrong and how to fix it. Hope you still have fun with thw game!
I could do that but see no benefit of that at the moment. We have a petroleum boiler in the base at the moment. Maybe a sourgas boiler though.. :D But i have some cool plans for the next episode that i want to do first. Thanks for the idea
Give those poor souls (Arale) something to do at least. Maybe make them do manual work on a rock crusher for more sand, and/or a hamster wheel to compensate for the energy loss. Stalin would be proud.

My PC went ahead and died. So i needed to buy a new one. That took care of most issues. A very expensive solution. But most lag is due to the game itself. So the updates inside the game do help alot. Then there are things you can do: - get the "fast track" mod that will make the game faster -collect all debris and store it either in a 1 tile storage or bins. both is better than having it lying around. PATHING: -capture all critter and give them less space to move, especially shove voles. -remove old ladders or block access to unused areas of the map so the dupes do not have to calculate pathing for that area. -less dupes less pathing, -you could have access limites in a way that 1 dupe only takes care of 1 part of the base -vacuum out gas areas or build tiles everywhere -same for liquids -if you have 5 planets and looked at them all. save. close the game reload and only click the planet you want to work on so the rest isn't (fully) loaded -don't shoot 1 payload per 3 second that will lag the heck out of your space map. but the normal maps should be fine -less piping in general -less (long) conveyor rails but they can reduce dupe work and pathing so be helpful in that regard again -get the mod that gets rid of critter decor, that way the game does not have to recalculate decor for moving critter all the time - and many more things i can't remember at the moment
24:52 The dupe stopped in the tube to protect themselves from the radiation. In an earlier update video you said that a patch has fixed that problem. Is that patch on a beta testing branch or similar only?
Haha that was my mistake. I was using that sound to jump big building gaps. Normally timed to the cuts. But sometimes i forhot this on the sound track. I have a Game sound track, the voice recording track 1 for music and 1 for sound effects. Some times i olace stuff there and move it around. This must have been sitting there for me to use but i forgot it.

16:20 why not just cheat dup the cold like you are doing the heat?....would be cool to see the steam at like 1k temp and the cooling loop at like -200 temp...what could go wrong? LOL!

I thought as a counterpart to the heating exploit i will show how much regular cooling would be needed. But I do agree that it would be cool ! :D I might try a sour gas boiler with this.

I love how you push an exploit so far and don't realize it could be pushed further to solve the problems you encounter... You are duplicating heat - why not duplicate cool as well to keep the turbines cool for free?

I thought as a counterpart to the heating exploit i will show how much regular cooling would be needed. And last Episode was cold temperature duplication. I may need to come back to the exploit cooling version though. That power block is really demanding. (I did manage to cool it in the end, but maybe i want to expand it more)

Then there are things you can do:
- get the "fast track" mod that will make the game faster
