It's been a while since this video but I was wondering if anybody knew how I could get a new remote for this drone, I accidently misplaced mine. If not the original remote one that would be compatible
So how would you compare its flight characteristics to the x300-1 maybe they have the exact same flight controller, so its a body fuselage difference, which is more nimble?

Hi, Quadcopter 101, can i use a 3.7v 1100mah Lipo battery (for the JJRC H5P) in this quadcopter? or to much power? im afraid that i can damage the circuits? doesnt fit but i can use velcro to attach in the quadcopter,. (sorry for the bad english)
i think the problem is not the power, because it's the same power(3.7V) but with higher capacity (1100mah). The problem might be the weight. Because of the extra weight of the 1100mah battery you might not get the extra flying time you expect.
But i think it will work fine in this quad. Mine came with a 600mah battery, i bought some 750mah, and i only get about 1 minute extra flight.

It records to a microSD card on the quadcopter. Remove the card from the quadcopter and place it in your phone's microSD card slot. You should now be able to view the video on your phone.

Sir how can I set up my one key return on my x300-2 quad
Many (if not most) toy quads use the questionable practice of advertising one key return as if it's a return to home feature. But it is not. Only a quadcopter with a GPS system is capable of returning to home and landing at its takeoff spot. This quadcopter does not have a GPS, and is not capable of return to home and landing. Always remember, if no GPS, then no RTH or RTL. No matter what the listing questionably infers.
"One key return" simply flies the quadcopter in the exact opposite direction that it was pointed when it took off. For example, if the quadcopter was pointed North at takeoff, pressing one key return would make it fly south. Thus if you make an effort to always keep the quadcopter flying North of your position, pressing one key return would make it roughly fly back toward you. But if the quadcopter was anywhere else but North, it may actually fly away from you.

+Kanari Mentos Sorry, but I didn't experience that problem with mine. Are you flying in an urban area near houses or apartment buildings. WiFi can greatly degrade range. Also turn off WiFi on your cell phone when flying.

What is the recharge time of the battery, important to know for those who choose to recharge in the field and not risk fatigue damage to the camera connector from battery swaps?
I see Chinese characters in the controller display area and on the Gearbest page, it says it's a color LED display, which to me looks like the Chinese characters are fixed and the modes are indicated by a lit LED behind those Chinese character blocks. Is it not an LCD meaning that the language of the display can't be changed?

+Quadcopter 101 Thanks, I somehow missed the charge time listed in the text. Hurrying too much, I guess. On the Chinese-only display, I guess they don't care about anything other than the Chinese market then. I also managed to miss the airborne video sample because I jump through videos to save time. A time link in the video's text would be helpful and I'd not likely miss it because it's highlighted in blue text. ;-) The video looks fairly nice with no jello, but that downward angle? Why?
Winston Smith I don't know why they do downward angles. Maybe they think people mostly want to do aerial "selfies"?

I think you had the same issues with the previous quad from this company (camera control & RTH). I'm assuming that the "manual" was in "Chinglish" and didn't explain the functions very well. Oh well, I guess you can figure things out after a bit of experimenting. I do wish these quadcopter companies would hire someone fluent in English to do their manuals .. it sure would save a lot of "experimenting'. I'm just thinking about Christmas morning, when a bunch of kids get these things under the tree, and they go to try and read the manual, and even their folks won't be able to help them. I foresee a lot of quads stuck in Christmas trees next month ... ;-) Cheers!

+Deviant Pixels Studio Actually, for this quadcopter, do not recommend using spare batteries with it. The battery is somewhat of a tight ift, and is a bit difficult to remove. Because of this, the manufacturer has included an external plug to charge the battery while it is still installed in the quadcopter.

You are correct, the batteries are very difficult to remove, I had to mod my quad to be able to swap them easily.
Hi I just bought one today and was wondering about the SD card slot. Mine has something in it that looks hard to take out. Do you know anything about this?
Where did you find one of these? It's long been discontinued. But no not really. I have no idea what could be in that slot, other than a microSD card.
Quadcopter 101 I got it at a pop up store that sells sneakers and other stuff. It just seems like there is something blocking the SD card entry or the space where the SD card goes is really small.
Did yours have an SD card slot? If so did you have to remove anything from there?
It use microSD cards which are smaller than regular SD cards.

You know you can change the position of where your camera is you can face it up wards or just in the middle
I want to get the SJ X300 2CW WIFI RC Quadcopter, but I'm not sure. It has a great price, lasts ten minutes in the air, and takes an hour to charge. But I don't want to be ripped of by a WIFI Quadcopter, because they tend to be terrible quads. From the info I've heard on this Quad, it sounds pretty good. If you've seen it, could you give me your opinion (or anyone else)? Or could you do a video on it? Please respond.
+Evan Peets I don't recommend any WiFi FPV fliers. They always interfere with th quadcopter's controller on 2.4Ghz frequency. Because of this, range of both FPV and control of the quadcopter are almost greatly degraded with a WiFi FPV quadcopter. Thanks for the good review. Range test ? And... it's said to be and looks to be connected to MJX somehow....so is it another flyaway copter? Flyaways are a danger to people and property and thus also a risk to the owner and the hobby, so these things need to be exposed if present.
You're not a reviewer who refuses to tell - kudos for that. MJX flyaways sometimes need to actually go out of range to see the flyaway. The 901 doesn't do it when you shut off the radio, but when flying out of range, it flies for a long long time.
It looks like a nice Quad. But the presentation makes me very confusing.
Why not plan it carefully and demonstrate the features step by step?
Whenever there is a camera attached with the Quad, the demonstration will be a mess.
If you activate the One-Key-Return button, why not let it comes back and land automatically rather than interrupt it by the transmitter ?
+Boney Yuen This is not a GPS equipped quadcopter with return to land. One key return is very different than return to land. Instead with activation of one key return, the quadcopter just flies backwards in a reverse course of the headless mode direction. The intent is to bring the quadcopter back close enough that beginner fliers can regain orientation of the quadcopter. The quadcopter will continue flying in this direction indefinitely until control is retaken by moving the pitch roll stick.

+saysleo It "looks" same, but its design is very different. It does not include modular motor pods, nor plug in motors for easy motor changes.
It looks like a ps4 controller the home button looks like the home button on the PS4 controller also the screen looks like the touch pad the only thing is they need to change around the trimming and the other buttons with the thumbsticks
