Lot of good information I like the aftermarket parts their lot cheaper. Especially SKF 6203-2RSJEM Ball Bearing. $10 instead of $40 do you have any other parts that you used on this build that will save us money and part numbers thanks a lot
check out part 2. i provide a part number for the shaft seal. i didn't look, but likely the ball bearings could be had through McMaster. My 8274 Albright video talks about some cheaper ways to get by the warn prices as well. thank you for watching and commenting.
@@SnaleRacing I see some decals manufactured in Kent Washington I have one that's been fractured in milwaukie oregon printed on decal like to get a replacement decal do you know where to get that particular decal and my motor is spline shaft and all I have is a serial number and where the model number would be on decal it is just blank and covered up.
the stickers are a little hit and miss. Collins Brothers jeep has a couple. also keep an eye on ebay. some of the later models only show a serial. is your sticker red/silver or primarily silver?
@@SnaleRacing sticker is faded can barely make writing out I know has plastic Round Knob and where the controls plug up it is also plastic motor is spline shaft. I try to figure out what year I even called Warn up just hard to tell I guess
i was about $1200 total. $550 of that was the winch itself($260) and the amsteel rope($290). stupid amount of time in the whole polishing thing though. minus the polish, you can have an updated winch with the 9.5xp motor and rope for under 2k. this ended up selling for about $2400.
@@SnaleRacing Nice .. I just picked one up for $150 the other day Looks like a complete turd. Pulled it apart today and the guts look absolutely perfect even had clean oil. Was expecting it to look as bad inside as out. Now I'm excited to polish this turd.
i don't believe that remote is available. the old four pin is a modded trailer plug. i recommend that you update to the 3 pin remote and recepticle. here are the part numbers. Remote 80172 Plug 16296

Very nice. Keyed motor was made by prestolite. Three digit date code states build date Nov 1980. best i can tell,
