Hey, woof. I legitimately believe that you may be my favorite TH-camr atm. Your content, sys specs, play style etc is so in line with my interests, and are almost the same! Love your content and your VoiceAttack profile is so helpful in combs with C2 and FHQ for me. Thanks for the great vids and assistance vids. Keep it up man, love from the Deep South.
It's about having a freshly spawned kid that later evolves into a lesser beast that consumes even greater time nuggets out of your day. Well that and lots and lots of projects. XD
Thanks for showing that and sharing your AI tools, I've been playing liberation solo for about a week (I have control of the NW sector of Altis) now and was slowly going mad due to not being able to properly create and control teams with the high command function.... you have just saved ARMA Liberation for me
So last night I tried it out and wow! I have my HC back only now they have been taking steroids and can do things .... good things..... better things.....thanks man :)
Subscribed and liked! Keep making videos like this, and you'll get a thumbs up from me every time. This was spectacular. This is what Arma 3 was meant for.
Nice I just learnt so much! Question re Liberation. Is the steam workshop the best way to download the most up to date version of the campaign? Also is it possible to get through Liberation without the more advanced AI High command techniques you use?
It is possible to get through liberation without Advanced AI command but it is painful unless you have a few friends to do it with. Solo its pretty hard.
Awesome! Glad it was of use to you. I agree with wraith6766, though. The gaming experience from that probably wouldn't warrant the sheer amount of work you would have to do to liberate the whole island. But I would think it could be worth using Liberation as a single player training ground since you can paradrop anywhere on the terrain and find opposition.
I just booted up my single player Liberation local server and everything is saved (vehicles included) except for my friendly AI units. The units were all gathered around the FOB but for some reason when I booted the server up they were gone? Any idea on how to retain the AI units when I abort and then reboot the liberation server?
Elliot Mist that seems to be true of infantry for all. I seem to have my AA and AT guys that i built as singular units to stay around the FOB between saves.
You can disable the PIP flickering by disabling multi-frame rendering in your nvidia control panel, you loose a little fps, but the annoyingness factor made me do it.
I tried switching from AFR to SFR, but that didn't seem to help. I thought that was the issue. Is multi-frame rendering both cards working on the same frame in sequence then? I can't find that particular setting.
The way I understand it is because with SLI card 1 renders the first frame and card 2 renders the next, but PIP for some reason is a frame behind, so when it asks GPU1 for the frame it's black because GPU2 has the real frame at that time. For me, in Nvidia control panel, I went into "Manage 3D settings", "Program Settings", and changed "SLI Rendering Mode" from "Alternate frame rendering" to "Single-GPU rendering" and that fixed my PIP flickering.
Well, starting from scratch, I reckon if you sit down with a youtube video and try to replicate everything you see, then you'll be up and running in a few hours.
Would you do a video on how to attach AI units to a FOB or an outpost in the KP Liberation game mode? Me and my friend have been playing on his server but the bases we take keep getting captured because we cant place any AI at them without leaving them all in our own squads
Not really able to do a video, but I can take a stab at it here. I can't remember if that is one of the versions of Liberation that has Zeus support. But if there's any good way of doing it, giving AI some waypoints to patrol around a FOB could be it. Either that or using "Advanced AI Command" mod to make them stay at the base in an alert state. I usually do the latter. All the AI at 2:47 in this video are placed like that.
great video, very smooth, when i try to use AI command control i cant get it to work, cause everytime i press space to activate command it switch back to map, what are keybindings for this?
Any tips on how to get started with Liberation while playing solo? I set up my FOB near the northeastern peninsula and can't really attack anything since I don't have manpower
Well, that is kind of the hard part. If you can't solo it with only the one dude that you have, you could use the arsenal and give yourself some overpowered weapons. Worst case, use MCC and spawn stuff, pick a small outpost rather than a town and so forth until you do have manpower to play it as us. If you mean playing without friendly AI altogether, then I would pick another mission like Pilgrimage.
Haha, thanks! I want to remember that it was C2, Advanced AI command and FHQ combat mode mainly. Then there should be the standard stuff like Head Range Plus, TAO folding map, Blastcore, Rydigiers Liability insurance, Splendid smoke. Maybe MRB voice stop and perhaps a simple sound mod. Vanilla assets though afaik.
As far I know, is not possible to save the complete current situation at a specific point. The only thing that can be saved is the progress of taken points and the units that are sufficiently close to a FOB. I suggest checking the liberation wiki.

Aaw, thanks man! I really appreciate it. Feels like a shame I can't upload more when someone find the stuff here helpful.
Oh, do you mean can't upload as in no content ready yet or like you have no way to upload/record?

Oh! Congrats woof! Well, anyhow I hope to see your channel grow a lot and get waaaay more than 100,000 subs soon! Thanks for talking. Adios muchacho.

Glad to be of help man! Advanced AI control tend to introduce bugs into missions though, so bring with you a nice big ol' bag of patience.

Haha, that's great! I had the exact same experience. ^^
Well done. And most enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.
I really like this kind of video, I know I am a bit late hehe
Go and check out the c2 discord. A lot more stuff like this over there
@@woofer_808 Alright

Very enjoyable Woofer! Hope you do more :)
Wilco Charlie Thanks man! I hope I get to do more too.
Great to see AI Command in action! Let me know if there are any improvements you'd like to see.
Will do. And thanks for a great mod! It really did open up the larger scale battlefield for us AI S&M's.
Great video as always Woofer! :)
Thanks man! Wish I had time to do more.
Yeah, you and me both! lol

how long do i have to play arma3 to figure that all out????????? HEEEEEEEEEEELP

Great video! How were you able to switch between units so easily?
Actually what mod gives you the remote control ability?
It is the Advanced AI command mod by duda. You'll find the link in the description.
I probably should write what they actually do there as well tbh.

How do you quickly navigate through the Advanced AI command scroll interface, are there hotkeys?
Nope, no hotkeys. But I believe there are discussions about that on the BI forum thread.
You know what you are doing here! Lol what mods do you use?

thanks so much! I really needed this information!
u play greatly. how could I play with u?
How to save the game!!!??? When i play in singleplayer... I cant save the progress
