Hey! It is really fun. But the combination of what I used at the time is pretty broken at the moment. My best tip is to look up the voice attack profile speakeasy. It helps with setting stuff up and getting going.
It's a pretty involved procedure since it depends on what factions you are using, but you should find it in the liberation folder/presets/blufor/ then apex.sqf is the vanilla units
I unpacked the mission .pbo-file with PBO manager and edited "\presets\blufor hs_usaf_d.sqf" since I use RHS. So the completely free rifleman is now ["rhsusf_army_ocp_riflemanl",0,0,0]. First zero is cost in resource units, second is ammo cost and last number represents fuel cost.
not 100% sure since I am rusty, but there should be two buttons when creating AI in Liberation - one to create a standalone ai unit and one button to create an ai in your squad.
Otherwise you could try this scripting command in the console. First aim at an AI. Then press escape and in the console type the command: cursortarget joinSilent group player; That should make the ai you are pointing at get added to your group, just like you were to recruit them.
I believe you need to both have the mods and edit kp_liberation_config.sqf so that it selects from the desired factions. I can't really remember that well now. I think that the best I can do is point you in the direction of their wiki github.com/KillahPotatoes/KP-Liberation/wiki/EN_ConfigFiles
It's a multiplayer setup, so the cameraman is a second computer connecting to the game. I then use the gcam mod with that guy to follow my main character around. So it's not really that elegant, I'm afraid >_

In the mission parameters. Click the Parameters button in the multiplayer lobby, then you'll need to enable the two rows that say something along the lines of "restart mission".
Hey woofer I noticed I can't quickly speak commands, I have to say Squad wait for the menu to pull up opposed to quickly saying. Squad Disembark naturally. Any help or are these personal commands you've done yourself that arent included in speakeasy
I should probably state that sort of stuff in the videos, but no they're aren't in the release version of Speakeasy yet. I'm in the middle of testing that stuff but if you want to test it and maybe report back how it works, I could get it to you.
Sorry for the late reply, I had dove a little bit deeper and edited a few commands myself to streamline much like you have in your personal version. I can however still test that for you, if youd like.
Nope, I wouldn't get any satisfaction out of the gameplay otherwise. When I did short evening sessions with friends in multiplayer we sometimes set everything to completely free to quickly get to the shooting part though. But those are completely different liberation campaigns.

You could also use singleplayer cheat menu to enable Zeus and spawn any guy you want in.
Ik I'm a year late but how do you set up the terrorist faction (what mods do you need?) because I can't get any enemies to spawn.

Why when I watch people play this they can control troops with the map. How do you do this without being in Zeus?

I just changed the mission script. There are specific files that contain prices for each unit within a faction.

That is happening automatically in the mission. It is stored as variables in your Arma profile I believe.

how do you save your game?
If your Liberation is set up properly, it will save continuously. Stuff that's too far away from an FOB will not save.
