With MP58 Hoist, I somewhat suggest waiting for the KO; I got the KO MP56 Trailbreaker, and that is a hefty beast!! The hood, the waist/crotch part (but not the skirt armor bits), and the majority of - but not all of - the legs from below the gray part of the thighs down to the feet are diecast. I'd guess that the Hoist KO will miss some of that, because if those pics of MP56+ Riggoras is any indication, Hoist ain't even gonna HAVE that waist/crotch part. As for this...I'm curious if the manufacturer has made a running change or if it's a different batch; most early reviews had the toy-style face having a completely clear visor instead of a blue painted one. This looks like they went with a clear blue. But as for me, I'm still leaning more towards the oversized KO of Siege Jetfire. Because aside from show accuracy and maybe articulation, what does MP57 do that Siege & FansToys didn't already do and/or do better?
To answer your question, MP-57 Skyfire has way better articulation than Siege Jetfire does, and it somehow feels better to handle in both modes, with gimmicks and pockets. I love mine, and I got Siege Jetfire (the SG repaint) shortly before it. However, I do hope we get an oversize of MP Skyfire, so that we get an even bigger figure of him, would have been awesome.
Great comparison! I honestly wanted to original but people I know had similar issues with ratchets either falling off or straight breaking so I backed out. Wanted to KO, but I think you made me want the original again. 😂
My recommendation is to NEVER transform him!!!! Mine had the same exact issues but when going back to bot mode, loosening the white pieces didn't work at all, I had to completely remove them!!!! Once done I pulled the bottom part completed off pushed everything in then placed it back to backpack mode then reapplied the white pieces!!!!
Sounds like your official MP57 is a bit of a lemon unfortunately. I was tempted for a sec to get the KO, but since my MP57 (225 USD) is flawless I don't think I'll bother.
I completely agree with your conclusions from your comparison 😊
The feet on the KO are diecast.
Yes they are!!!!

I went with Magic Square's Jetfire - their products just keep getting better, and I really now prefer the 'legends' scale.
Wow. Good to know and glad you enjoy them.

I was going to get me this KO, but I opted for a FT Phoenix without the box and almost new, for a decent price instead.
Don't blame you! Pheonix is a great figure and i coveted for years (metallic one). But the prices was crazy and i never saw the metallic re released.
@@mwal132 Yeah, I got me this one for $235, not bad when you consider some of them go for 300 bucks or more.
How much was the 4th party and where did you order it from? Thanks for doing this review 👍👌
Last section of my video does show. $125 ShowZ. Welcome.
@@mwal132 got it, cool thanks. Good price. Thinking of getting this. The MP version is too expensive

Sad true story. :) I'll defn try to animate this one sooner or later. The original will be the easiest.

Just a lemon in the hip. Now that it’s fixed - better than ever 🙂
Watching you handled the masterpiece official that joint looks like a piece of trash the knockoff looks dope
Believe it, or not, in some ways to official is still better. Thanks for watching!
