Tiago Monteiro only in 19th? Come on, it's not about the podium. It's the fact he scored a point in Spa for his 8th place (not 10th like today's points atribuition) and he had the record of being the rooki who finished every race in his debut year (surpassed by Max Chilton). He deserved a season in a midfield car (I don't think he had the quality to achieve a top car) but the fact he didn't have great sponsors spoilt his F1 chances.

It's honestly a damn shame that EJ overplayed his hand in the early 2000s and ruined the viability of a team that had crept up to best-of-the-rest status behind Mclaren and Ferrari. Watching their downward slide was painful and it was a minor miracle that the Force India concern were able to stop the ship from totally sinking.

Frentzen's 99 season alone should make him #1 - the only one to win multiple races.
Then again, his mistake at Monaco 2000 cost Jordan 4th in the championship and ultimately started the team's decline. Falling-out with EJ in 2001 left the team in crisis. Maybe Perez deserves #1 for leaving the team in better shape.

Good video but the title is kind of misleading. It seems to imply that drivers were ranked based on skill, while the video itself clearly ranks them based on their contributions to the team and performance while at the team.
