Just wanted to you that Decapitated was one of my biggest inspirations as a musician, and I was so devastated when Vitek died. When I heard they got a new drummer I knew that they had to have picked someone worthy. Well, they certainly did. I really enjoyed ‘Carnival Is Forever’. Your videos are very well-done and great to watch!
I use the same technique you used with pressure on the head of your 16” floor Tom to get out all the wrinkles out with my bass and floor toms. A guy in marching band a long time ago told me that if you have the right pressure in the center of the head and bring out all the wrinkles and just tune it there it is lowest possible pitch.
Love your contents! It sucks that I just discovered you, you are inspiring... Question: you mention that your bottom head is on a certain note, do you tune the batter head at the same note or you tune it until its sounds good to you? Thx!
Ohh... it Was so helpfull. I try to tune my drumset, and i had problem with that "farting" drum. Now i know it's too low. Thank you very much for that video :D
Hey man great sounding toms. What are the intervals between top and bottom heads in order to get the ;around; the notes you want them to sit?minor 3rds?perfect 4rths?or?Another thing, there has to be an ''OPAAAAAAAA'' moment in your videos... :-)
Vasilis Koskinas hey! I actually try to tune them the same and not really to a special interval. I know some people do that but I rather tune them the same. If feel the Tom sounds louder and longer with this method.
Gamma T.C. I know some people like the drum dail and the tunepot but I rather use my ear. you can use the drum dail to get the right tension but you will still have to fine tune each lug by ear. That’s why I skip using such devices and trust my 👂
Dude, nice! I'm literally about to record an album next week and just ordered some new drumheads. Haven't changed them in a bit so this came out at the perfect time! haha Cheers! (Check out our last album if you'd like : Besieged - Victims Beyond All Help)
@@KRIMHDrummer oh ok thank for your answer! I see in another video of you where you talk about the drum module Roland TM-2 with trigger Roland RT-30K, I thought you no longer used foot blaster. Which is the best? Footblaster or RT-30K?
Its nice that you are taking us through your process but haha it's not the glue, it's a little step releafing the drumhead, but everybody thinks it is the glue, no shame.
Haha the Imperial March at the end 🤣 Nice
They’re *SNIFF* nice and fresh 😂

Welche Note wäre eine 13" Tom? Gutes Video!
Hi Krimh!! Excellent video as always.
Any tips to prevent hardware from rusting? Your hardware looks great and flawless!! Greetings man.
WD40 👍🏻
great video, i love the sound but dont like the over tone I'm assuming I can use moongel or something to help with that.
Yes Moongel or other dampening devices will help with that
@@KRIMHDrummer thanks brother, keep up the good work
Useful video, thanks! Quick question; How often do you replace your resonance heads?
clasicrockmusicfreak not very often. Usual only before a recording session.
So. Krihmaister .... Same tuning tops and bottoms?
The snare episode should be great then? If you are the one doing it ;)
😂 that Meinl key is huge
(2:50) That's not glue..... Remo's collar shapes to the bearing edge, that's why it cracks when you tune a Remo head.
What you think of using D drum dial?. I got it and I think is usefull. And easy to use... Should try hard to use a soft mallet and my ear?

What is the app you use to check the note? Is it just for iphone or is it for android? Good video!
Did he even out the note of both heads for each tom?
So are you keeping both heads tuned the same? Are you tuning the 10” to a 4D or 3D? Thanks.
Are you essentially tuning the reso head and the batter head to the exact same pitch? Or is one of the heads a higher pitch than the other?

Hi KRIMH! Why don't you use foot blaster anymore?
Ronnie Rodrìguez I do use it. ;)

What you didn’t mention is your reso’s higher or lower than batter
