Just burned 4k miles this summer on an S23 rear with rosso IV up front (it was fine, so only replaced rear) on an SV650. Very pleased with it. Liked it a little better than the Pirelli it replaced. Better confidence in corners. Both are terrific.
I got S22 on my SDR and love them, got the S23 sitting ready to go on, they have never let go on me and i rate the tyre highly If you wanted a tyre that i also rate at half the price i have the Mitas Sport on my SDGT, just went from Scotland down to Spain on them and went through torrential rain coming back and they held up great
Put 23's on my Bandit last week. Still 0 miles yet because of work stuff etc. They're sure to be better than the Michelin Macadams that went out of production in 2007 I think. Rear tyre was 19 1/2 years old! And the front was nearly 24 years old!! I'm looking forward to seeing how she rides.
Hi , I currently have a set of S23's fitted did 1,000 miles but took them off because I was going to Northern Spain and new they probably wouldn't last the trip and fitted my 6th set of Continental Road Attack 4. They are now done and back on the S23's. I have had 3 sets of S22'S my average miles was 3,300 with the Conti RA4 it's 4,800 the reason I am commenting is have a look at the RA4 for winter , I like them much better than Michelin Road 5 of which I have had 5 sets average mileage 5,300 mi
Sorry didn't finish, I have also had a set of Metzeler 01se but didn't get on with them and the OE supercorsa the bike came with great when it's 20+c and dry but don't last , this is on a 17 Tuono no commuting only pleasure riding in UK but all year riding mostly North to mid Wales
What pressure did you put into your tyres? I just got the s23s today. My s22s lasted about 9000kms, with a puncture repair at the 8000kms mark and they just started getting a bit low on the tread in the rear. I sat on 32F/36R on my R7.
Wore down the stock Pirelli Super Corsas on my Speed Triple and put some S23s on - I actually prefer the S23s on the mountain roads I ride. Amazing grip and predictability
I would like to chip in on this tire, I got myself a 24 MT-09 that came with them from the factory, I haven't ridden on super sport tires before but was very pleased with the grip and confidence they gave me straight from the get go, I have to say though the rear squared off just like yours around 2,5k miles, I do not ride on a highway at all. I am at 4k miles right now and there is no tread left on middle of the rear tire front on the othe hand looks like it could last another rear but I would to try out Metzeller M9RR, have you ever tried them? If yes than how do those two compare?
They’re next on my list, I have the rosso4 on for winter (prefer the road 5 still for winter however), summer depending on the deal with be the metsler or Power GP2’s
@@yodomcat I’m still in my SV650. And on the tyres it came with. I’d like to try a few different bikes now to get a feel of something different. At 70 ( and maybe a little more ) on the motorway I get a right blast and a bit of neck ache Like to try a bike with a screen and fairings Still pinch myself as a license holder …
Road 6 tyres are out now (running those on my mt07). Currently still got the oe dunlops on my s1kr. And supercorsa sp's on the tuono. Still deciding what to fit the the bmw next...
My fave are the Pirelli is summer as I like the tip and road5/6 for winter as then want to counter steer. But if I could only pick on I’d have Rosso4 for winter and Corsa for summer.

Finally someone that has the same opinion about the S22. Just ordered myself the S23 with the hope that i feel more secure on wet 🙂

Cheers mate, added to the list! 👍🏻
Got my S23 set in april and after 5000 km the front looks almost done, the rear looks to have about half life. Got a ninja 650... they wear fast

@AlexMe89 you must shred, thanks for your feedback
I love the 23 on my my10. I've got rs11 on my s1000rr 👍🏼👌🏼. You go to RPM too. 👍🏼
Iain is brilliant; wouldn’t use anyone else! 👍🏻
Hated the road 6’s on my street triple, horrible vague feeling + my first set leaned heavily to the left. S23 it is.

I prefer the tip from the Pirelli, forces me lean more 👍🏻

I'd be interested in your thoughts on the Michelin Power 6.
Not run power only road. A friend who ran both says power is better in dry and road better in wet. With same tip-in feel.
Hi Dom.
What wing mirrors are those ??
HJR barend mirrors, best for the S1K and the cheapest

2000 miles ?? WTF..
You could get 4k easily if you look after them and didn’t hammer the motorway miles. 6k being really gentle.
Michelin Power 6 wayyyyyy better :)
