I absolutely adore your videos for their incredible energy of 90's public access TV show; mid 2000's TH-cam webcam vlog and 2020's liberal essayist.
I can't say why TH-cam has chosen not to boost your channel and no one will ever be able to, all we can do is keep watching and for you to keep making.
I can't imagine how tough it must be for you and I know this is selfish to say because it's born from my desire to keep watching your incredibly cozy content but... Don't give up. Because you have a fantastic voice, both literally and figuratively.

You are better than your sub count. As someone who is part of a video podcast for over eight years running, 2,400+ videos (30 - 60mins in length), most of them getting 500 views or less, I understand your production pain. A strong community is what keeps our small crew going as I'm sure it does you. TH-cam (the site) is a harsh, uncaring monster at times.

For real though you have a ton of 500 view videos that should be algorithmic darlings. The content is amazing and extremely unique it's just taking way too long for people to notice. The only thing worth improving is production quality but it's amazing without a high budget production and that can come once you start making money.

This channel is underated, been following for at least a year. I never was really interested in the older era of gaming, paticularly on PC side of things and anything pre-NES. But a lot of your videos gave a closer look on parts of history of gaming that genuinely is facinating, and I remember first feeling that way with the Crawford Fought the Dragon video. And lot of your vids are also just plain fun to see and easy to follow, so congrats on 5k man
