Excellent and most awesome review. I think you just sold me on the Chopin. Visceral bass, and the more controlled and smoother uppers is what sealed the deal for me. Keep up the good work my friend.
I have the variations and now these. Faceplates are definitely subpar but the sound is very good. I guess when I get the monarch MKII or MKIII I will get the best of both worlds 😅
Variations is hard to put up against other sets since it plays my library so well. Quintet is good but does not come that close to Vari. While Quintet is very clean and well separated it still lacks the same refinement that Vari has.
Hello and thanks! I believe it's not up to me to decide what people like so my focus is always to convey the experience as well as possible. I appreciate your feedback.
Great review. My Chopin stomps it. So much that I don't listen to the Quintet anymore. The stage of the Chopin feels about equal to the Quintet (not smaller). Better resolution, smoother, more satisfying bass, etc. I had to return the Chopin though😢 It doesn't fit my Fiio utws5. And the hype 4 is supposedly better. I decided to take a leap of faith and order the hype 4. Here's me hoping
It's sad to know that it costs $220 dollars and doesn't feel premium for Danny 😢 But the drivers that they put in is interesting tho. Thanks for the Video!
I would have bought the set already if it had unique faceplates like the forteza. I like my IEMs to scream and look like jewelry. Im hoping a set like this with bone conduction deivers too
Yea I shop by aesthetics first. My top set all around is the Xenns Mangird Tea 2. I really enjoy the good sound and decent techs on it but that faceplate really seals the deal.

Thanks for tuning in. Hopefully Chopin is on sale soon with CNY coming up. That would make it better.
@@ImAWSMDanny The CNY sale is exactly what I was waiting on.
Something minimal looking like that would be great if you’ll be using them in public imo (walking around in a city, etc.)
You are an excellent reviewer with wonderful detailed descriptions. Thank you
Ooh. Been waiting for this one!
You’re on point Danny. Excellent assessment of this set. ☮️
And I’ll double down on that because I have the Chopin too. You really nailed it brother. I mean Nailed IT!!!
Thank you sir 🫡
Another great review Danny. Maybe Kiwi saw Jim sell plastic and thought... ya know...
Kiwi Ears getting the bag

Hopefully I get to demo Monarch in SoCal this year.
What do ya think of the variations compared to these? I own a Vari and I'm interested in the quintets

@@ImAWSMDanny sounds like a skip for the quintet then, off to check bqeyz winter for their BC lol
I hear good stuff on the Winter Ultra, makes me want to check it out
I’ve been wanting to try some kiwi stuff like this
Wow they look great for the price. Wonder how they compare to the upcoming doscinco. Will you be getting the doscinco for review?
Great review!
I have no idea. Thanks for tuning in.
Nice review. That driver combo is insane.
Thanks! Yea super uncommon, would love to see a Quintet re-release with a prettier faceplate sometime soon. It would be an instant buy.
Nice review. I’m a Quintet owner. U reviewed the set 100% as exactly as it is.

Thanks homie

Oh dang. Curious to know what you think of the Hype 4.
@ImAWSMDanny I'll let you know as soon as I get it.
nice honest review
Thanks, I appreciate it
I feel the same, it's like the iem you take to prison that won't get stolen.
lmao, dang good way to put it
perhaps they need to try making a kiwi colored iem. call it the kiwi ears: fruit
Real
i laughed every time the backdrop was sunny's fur lol
I can't belive he let me get those pictures
I must have gooten a weird copy where only dd and piezo worked, because my experience was barely better than the chu
Weird, that doesn't sound right
If the plastic is low density I question the long term durability.
Yea same here but only time will tell.

Sounds great, doesn't tickle my fancy in looks sadly.
@@ImAWSMDanny Can I borrow them HAHA
They're not mine. Already back with their owner.

This iem vs tancjim origin??
I haven't had much time on the Origin yet. I plan to review it next week.
