Thanks for this video. Looking at Green Bay as an option, coming f4om a Colorado Mountain town of 500 (total cou ty 15k), so all the cons crack me up. We have to drive 2 hours to get to a big box store 😀 it's all perspective!
Having grown up about 40 miles from Green Bay, it is a fun city. Spent a lot of my youth at Bay Beach and shopping at Pranges. I love my usual annual fall visit to my investment in a business on the west side of town. Believe it's located on something like Lamborghini Avenue. Green Bay has many opportunities not seen in cities of its size, much of it because of the "cache" as the home of the Packers. I joke that without the Packers, Green Bay is Duluth with slightly better weather. I've lived in Texas for over 40 years but it's like my childhood all over again when I come to Green Bay. Well, that and a Brandy Old Fashioned.
One thing that blew Me away when I first moved there was the Former Washington Commons Mall a block from the Brown County Library and Bay Park Mall. And the Starbucks inside of Barnes And Noble that’s right across the street from Bay Park Mall and the Starbucks inside the cafeteria at Aurora Baycare Hospital on Greenbrier Road.
I used to live in Green Bay from November 23, 2003-February 20, 2006 on Velp Avenue down from Broadway, Military Drive, and West Mason, and Howard. I lived like a 15-25 minute walk to Lambeau Field.
Hi! Very informative. Thank u. Moving by oct this year. Will be working as a nurse in st vincent hospital. Looking forward to this neighbourhood and community. At the moment we are looking for apartment for rent probably just near the hospital area as possible.
I'm from el Paso tx and I'm thinking to move with my family to green Bay , I have done lots of searches to many cities in the USA and I liked green Bay over all. how is the flooding risk there ?
Although can be more diverse, it is likely the most diverse place besides Milwaukee in Wisconsin. Definitely more diverse than Depere or Howard. Also, this is based on census data. Census data often undercounts ethnic diverse people
I was born here, left at a very early age to join the army. Did my time, came back, leaving many opportunities. Fought my way out again. Achieving college, and returning. Glutton for punishment right? Took the greatest adventure of my life and lived in Asia for 20 years. And ,at the end of a rope, came back. Been here 3 years. I'd love to be your foil, give my honest opinion on why this town is attractive and detrimental. I smoke and drink, talk shit! Those are the things your cast need. Fuck nice let's be honest! And make it better! Let me know if you care to meet? Let you know a bit about me and my perspective?..
My favorite thing about Green Bay is where it’s situated between everything else! You can get to the Milwaukee or Chicago in a couple hours, you can escape deep the northwoods in the same amount of time. And you get a lot of bit city amenities without the big city $$.
@@beatrizcoronado it would really depend what you are looking for. I love Astor Park which is a historic register neighborhood. I also love the Schmitt Park and Baird Creek neighborhoods in east Green Bay. There’s lots of big old trees.
Yeah there is definitely potential to get financing as a self employed individual. The lenders can help you work through those things to see what you may qualify for. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you were looking for some local lenders to help you. I can share some with you. My contact info is in the description of the videos. Best of luck to you! 🙂👍
Kayla, I would love to chat with you guys to hear about your goals and plans to see if I can help. Feel free to reach out to me directly. My contact info is in the description.

One of the pros you left out was the goodness of the people. You're not going to find too many places were the people are as genuine as they are here.

I'm going to start referring to sports games as "high level athletic experiences". Sounds much more intriguing lol
I grew up in GB and to me, it still takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get anywhere just about. No idea where this 30 minutes is coming from.
I’m moving there

I'd say very low.

Milwaukee is one of the most segregated cities in the U.S. What's your definition of "diverse" ?

@@PEYPLACE no we ended up having family that needs us here but we visit all the time and still plan on moving there in the future
The lack of diversity is a pro for some people, not a con.
Green Bay area has many ways to enrich and help special needs people
Con it's freezing cold there
So .. just wear a jacket
92° degrees yesterday. Bring on the cold. Green Bay isn't any colder than any other Midwest city.
Aaron Rodgers
He’s a Pro for sure…right? Lol 😆

Awesome 😎 just had to check because it doesn’t seem to be unanimous anymore. 🤷♂️
Con - If you don't like football, hate the Packers, or come from Minneapolis, Chicago, or Detroit, people won't like you.
I disagree, I don't care what you like as long as you're a decent citizen.
