Worked on my 2.0 tdi 184 bhp leon , had to hold it in 4 gear at 75 mph for around 3 miles when the car was up to temperature and it cleared the warning in only a couple of miles , thanks for doing the vid 👍
There is one question I wanted to ask for a long ago. If my 1.6 or 2.0 TDI starts regeneration and I turn off engine, will it glow on dashboard when I turn my car again or will be dismissed cause I turned off the engine?
Try using some aditives that you put in your fuel tank and regenerate like that. I usualy regenerate my dof druving on 1600-1800 rpm in 3rd gear for constant 20-25min and lamp always goes off
It worked on my 2013 jetta but light came back on the next day. I did it again, the light turned off but once i shut it of and start the car the light comes back on. Going to have to figure out what i need to replace to fix my problem
I don’t have a problem with my DPF from being clogged up, I have a problem with the EGR on my 2013 passat so to me the DPF gets clogged up because the parts before it are getting clogged up, meaning they malfunction before the DPF. So why can’t they fix the problems like EGR from sooting before the DPF
Egr takes exhaust after the DPF. And has its own filter. Usually by the time you get a P0401 code it’s because the PDF is cracked internally. And you will get a p2002 code shortly after.
I got towed off highway, drove to Advanced Auto on limp mode, bought Innova Scanner SDS43, you can temporarily clear the code then run the DPF regeneration. Recommended only if DPF was cleaned or replaced
Just had to clear mine 10minutes ago in a 2.0litre audi my mechanic told me that people don’t tell you how to do the regen properly the method I’ve done that works is doing 50mph consistently on the motorway do not drop below 50 or go above it stick to directly 50 and make sure your doing 2500k revs which for me was 4th gear and just drive till the light flicks off

Exactly what VW told me to do. Thank you sir.
Thank you. Going to try this later today. Hope it works
Godbless you sir great video!! How often do you have to do this?? Once a month or???
Thanks Man just first try it works 😮
MIleage of the beast.
The coolant thermostat is dead, you should replace it immediately. It might be the cause for DPF issue
How do you know ?
@Ádám Demeter coolant temperature should reach 90°C after starting the engine in max 7-8 minutes.
@80lukk thats not treu 😂
@@Hellaorj OK
He only just started the engine 🤣 most cars take at least 5 or 10 minutes at idle before the needle moves
Took my 13 passat to garage twice in two weeks, light back on again. Not sure what to do now

Is it necessary to fill up until the tank is full?
My car has problems to run after regenerating!! Please any advice?
What can I do if this method doesn't work? Got a passat b7 1.6, try'd 2500-3000 rpm, drived over at least 200km and the lamp is still on...

What if the car is on limp mode
