There’s something about Kathy bates that completely pulls you in. She has this incredible magnetic vibe where you can’t help but notice her, even if she’s on screen for 5 seconds. I think she’s probably one of the most remarkable actresses in Hollywood. Humble and down to earth.

I always assumed she had stayed clear of substances due to her addictions she overcame as a young teen .
Love hearing these stories. Kathy Bates is right about willpower…that is fleeting. I use the term dedication…I am dedicated to being healthy and remain so after 50 lbs lost…30 more to go. And if it takes me a year or two I’m perfectly fine with that! Dr. Jason Fung saved my life! Btw, no ozempic type meds for me…I got horrible side effects that ruined my quality of life…

Been a huge fan of Kathy Bates since Dolores Claiborne, even though I had seen her in Misery before, it was the movie Dolores Claiborne that got me to notice her more, and from then on I would watch anything she was in. I am glad that she is taking better care of herself now, so she can live longer, she seems like a genuinely nice person.

Love Kathy Bates. One of my favorites. She looks amazing if a bit unrecognizable. My favorite movie with her is Water Boy. She really cracked me up with that Cajun accent. So much respect to her for losing so much weight, not that I ever really thought that she might need to. That is an almost impossible thing to do without chemical intervention. So much respect to those who can do this. I hope she lives to be 200.

I suggest reading a book Plate of Health by Ethan Parker if you want to know how to lose weight. Just follow everything writer suggests in there, it's one of the best reads I had in a while.
