The fact HL is on frame dis after all os and ds lights (but ds chained light) really sucks. It forces him to keep reading his opponent's moves and he has to expect interrupts all the time which messes with his flow. Also his recoveries still suck donkey balls. Also his hitboxes. You hit every fucking structure in the game but the sword magically moves through enemies without hurting them. And he still is buggy af. Cancels his OS randomly or doesn't heavy after a kick. That being said I still love the hero and he is the only one i play. Requires some brain tonplay and has delicious thighs.
I think highlanders strongest ability is to be able to feint his kick into grab or vice versa or feint it into a GB because fuck you lose the 50/50/50 to the S tier character

One thing I learned from fighting some of the absolute best is make them guess wrong even a single time and they stop becoming unbeatable real quick… they start second guessing themselves and that hesitation leads to defeat
@@Lazypackmule the second you can make something from a guarantee to a 50/50, your odds of winning dramatically increase (from 0% to 50% lmfao) Also the whole essence of a fighting game is figuring out how your opponent thinks so you can manipulate them into making mistakes. If somebody wants to parry your lights from neutral constantly, open up with raw heavies and a lot of them will eat 30dmg to the face
