They get free food(up $5k a month per family) I have to see these people everyday barbecuing on the sidewalk and drinking beers all day. Free housing. The city completely rehabbed these buildings in less than a few months and moved whole illegal families in. And by families I don’t mean single moms and kids. There are some houses with 5 grown young men living in them the city pays for working age grown men(they are the ones who grill and drink on the sidewalk all day). Schools, here on south and west sides they cut funding to a lot of our schools. This forces them to close a lot of schools and forcing kids to schools outside there neighborhoods. You can imagine the problems this cause. Those same closed they closed have been reopened and rehabbed to house illegals. We have a lot of homeless elderly and vets here. The city is paying for illegals to stay at hotels for months. Not motel 6 but nice hotels downtown. Chicago already had a gang problem and they tend to put the illegals in poor BLACK gang infested areas. So now do I not only have to deal with the local gangs but the gangs that illegals brought. This city said it was so broke but came up with over 100 million to take care of illegals overnight, thats a yearly number. I could go on but won’t. They get free food(up $5k a month per family) I have to see these people everyday barbecuing on the sidewalk and drinking beers all day. Free housing. On my block alone the city has completely rehabbed 3 3 unit buildings that were burned down or abandoned for years. The city completely rehabbed these buildings in less than a few months and moved whole illegal families in. And by families I don’t mean single moms and kids. There are some houses with 5 grown young men living in them the city pays for working age grown men(they are the ones who grill and drink on the sidewalk all day). Schools, here on south and west sides they cut funding to a lot of our schools. This forces them to close a lot of schools and forcing kids to schools outside there neighborhoods. You can imagine the problems this cause. Those same closed they closed have been reopened and rehabbed to house illegals. We have a lot of homeless elderly and vets here. The city is paying for illegals to stay at hotels for months. Not motel 6 but nice hotels downtown. Chicago already had a gang problem and they tend to put the illegals in poor BLACK gang infested areas. So now do I not only have to deal with the local gangs but the gangs that illegals brought. This city said it was so broke but came up with over 100 million to take care of illegals overnight, thats a yearly number. I could go on but won’t. Brandon is the mayor here he could solve this by changing our sanctuary city status. Instead he disrespects blacks when we try to question him. So much so that there is a big push to turn Chicago to a red city(Republican) among blacks and Latinos. O last thing I forgot to say. NONE of these illegals are put on the north side or any white neighborhoods. It’s 70% black neighborhoods and 30% Latino area placement.
