This is the best tutorial on showing how to bend the wire thanks also the first bead cap you was gonna use if you would turn it around it will fit right inside the straw and I use send beads on the wire that I wrap around the fabric thanks again
Thank you so much for the absolutely marvelous tutorial on the boho beads. I actually know (not think) but know from your showing and telling how to make the wire works on the ends that I can actually do that now. You ROCK girl. It was fabulous and I hope everyone that wants to make these beads finds your tutorial as I am sure many have already. Thank you again yours is one of the best tut out there. Have a wonderful day and also your a joy of fresh air to watch. Have a wonderful day. I am going to make some boho beads. :) Oh and thank you so much for sending me the link to this tutorial!!!!
Oh wow! That loop at the end was just fabulous. I'm going right now to try and make mine at neat as yours. Hmmmm...wishful thinking methinks! Thank you.
Thank you! I love these and I haven't made any in forever. Haven't even thought of them. Now, I'm going to have to make some More! Thanks for the reminder and inspiration
I think you did a great video. Even with the challenge of the camera focusing, the close ups really showed in. Detail how to wrap and make the loops. Don't sell yourself short, you did a great job explaining in great detail which is what a successful video does. I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for sharing.
Where does one find those nicer paper straws? All I see in stores are the cheap glossy plastic ones and it’s impossible to glue on them unless it’s with a glue gun. I love the fearlessness of your fiber choices. LOl, I never would have thought to use such fluffy white fabric, but it works beautifully! Oh, and although I was freaked by the length of this video, I found it to be a wonderful “class” in boho beads. Thank you. I loved the second bead and all it’s fuzziness. The white one needs some tiny pearlescent seed beads,IMO.
I believe the party stores or the craft stores should have the paper straws. I got these a long time ago for my daughter's baby shower. That was 3 years ago and I think I got them at Hobby Lobby. tfw my friend!
Love love love your video Diane!!! New subscriber here, I just met you on Karla's live show. Your video is excellent I am so inspired to make some beads!!! I guess I'll have to shop first for some bead caps and straws. Thank YOU so much for inspiring me...and I'd love to see the paper beads made too. Congratulations on all your subscribers!!!!
Many people make looped wires to go through the beads & attach lobster clasps or ear wires at the top & beads at the bottom, but I just create the wires with a loop each end at the length I want & make the bead straight around the wire, so the wire becomes part of the bead.
This is a GREAT video. Your wire work is excellent. I had a basic jewelry class as part of my art degree & I have to say that you would make an excellent teacher, the way you showed the wire loop at the end was so perfect that even the newest newbie could turn around and make a boho bead with no other instructions. AND making a long---------wrapped bead and cutting it is genius & its going to be such a time saver for me. So thank you thank you thank you. oops almost forgot, congrats on reaching the 1000 subie milestone.
Thank you SO much for your kind, encouraging words. I always worry if I'm showing people how to do things in a way that they can understand how to do them so to hear you say that is such a wonderful compliment and I appreciate your taking the time to tell me this!
Hi Diane, thank you for this great video!!! You did a great job in explaining the process!!! Very understandable!!! These beads are gorgeous...as a matter of fact, I've ordered some from you!🤗 They should be arriving in the next day or two! Yay!!! I would love to see a tutorial on the paper beads also!!! Thank you Diane! Smiles, Deborah:-)
I really enjoyed your video, great job of teaching the method to making the beads! I think it might help to make you loop on one end of the wire first then add your beads. It would make easier to keep from pulling your wire out and then the second end would be easier. Really love the look of your finished beads. Thanks for sharing!!!
They turned out beautiful! I especially love the color combination on the second one. Can't wait for your haul video! And congrats on hitting 1000 subscribers! I've been watching you since 600 subscribers and you quickly became one of my go to channels for junk journals!
I have never heard of fabric beads . Guess I've been living under a rock. I just wonder what you do with them. I also do not know what a boho journal is. I lobe boho stuff. I will keep watching videos to learn more! Great video!
Fabric beads are used for junk journal jewelry, planner jewelry, purse charms, zipper charms, etc. A boho journal is just basically all things boho put together in a journal.
I love these! Only one thing ticks me off... I had a purple scarf just like your white one and I donated it to Goodwill! Note to self: get rid of nothing! ha ha
Great video and lovely beads. I really want to try making some. I just went on amazon to buy bead caps and am overwhelmed with choices. Could you please suggest a size? 8, 10, 12 mm?? Or could you put a link or two to what you recommend? Thanks so much in advance. 🙏🤗
I got mine at Hobby Lobby. I don't really have many and I don't buy many so I'm not familiar with the sizes? I'm sorry, I know I'm not much help at all, lol. I just don't buy a whole lot of this type of supply. I just got simple ones at Hobby Lobby
Diane you are awesome! Thank you for the great tutorial on making the BoHo beads. You did a great job. Helpful video, rule number one be prepared and try and keep the chatter to a minimum. 🇨🇦
Don't you need to be gluing it down because when you cut it it will come loose!
Great explanation! Thank you!
At first it was kind of ugly looking with that dog like hair but at the end it kind of looks alright
Do a video with paper beads
Sorry, I really don't like that earrings
It's not an earring
