    Director's Cut
    In this video, I tweaked some bugs and details, such as a lightning bolt hook, door locks that I forgot about, darker ventilation pipes, and more.
    Enjoy watching!

    I watch a lot of your videos and always find em so intricate with detail and the patience u have is beyond me cause i get so impatient with glues and paints. I often work on 2 or 3 cars while 1 car will set and dry for a 24 hour period. Your masking is superb. I'll peel my tape off after a spray and notice paint has somehow still managed to seep past the masking tape, and i just give up. Every last detail from the carpeting you filter in to the wiring and harnasses or adding in the straps to the gullwing doors is just awesome work for hand detailing and far greater than the original piece.

    • @GoodRestore
      @GoodRestore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you!
      To prevent the paint from getting under the masks, glue them as tightly as possible and try to spray the paint in thin layers, do not flood it too much at once ;-)

    I did a double take last Saturday. I was leaving church parking lot and there was this stream of cars going by keeping the road busy. Car after car. And down the way I could see flashing blue /red lights so I was thinking oh an accident and traffic is diverting. But many of the cars were odd makes and older and I was confused. And then drives by this lovely well maintained DeLorean. At that point I realized it was a parade of older beauties and such and they had to be doing some move from A to B. Sure enough eventually the line is trailed by two cop cars lights flashing ensuring no one tried to enter or get past the line. But it was still amazing to see a DMC drive by

    It's incredible the attention to detail you put into this. At first I was curious as to why you would dremel off the cables and wires that were molded into the body and interior. Then you replaced them with actual wires and cables and that was just brilliant. One minor nitpick though. The license plate wasn't yellow in the film. Other than that, this thing is perfect.

      Thanks! In the future, I think I will replace the license plate)

    It took me a while to realize it, but I have the exactly same model sitting on my shelf, just without the details you gave yours, of course.
    You did a great job with your restoration!

    It was funny stuff; of the music that was being played, and how the engineer showed how he restored, this toy DeLorean time machine. Knowing that it was used, in 'Back to the Future.'
