Yeah I'd love to see the videos incorporate the "distressing" as well. The weathering is the best part of Luke Towan's or Laser Creation World's videos
I don’t care that this guy destroys these models before he “restores” them. His attention to detail is excellent and he makes the car look even better than brand new.
@@NotoriousMach no, it's pretty obvious that these cars are intentionally destroyed for the purpose of making these videos. Anyone that's actually seen what old broken toys look like after years of abuse and back yard burials will know that these are all intentionally destroyed.
First one I’ve ever watched of these, YT thought I’d enjoy this. Pretty satisfying watching something go from not so great condition to the amazing condition at the end. Looked like a lot of love went into repairing it.
I think it was shown on his Instagram page that he purposefully ages and decays the cars to restore them for videos? Not 100% sure though. It’s such an amazing credit to his artistic ability to be able to do both.
Fun to watch. Obviously a skilled builder. Nobody is buying the barn find but... doesn't matter and not meant to. Let's celebrate that incredible paint job out of a can. That gives me some hope.
He's obviously a model kit builder. I can tell by the Tamiya modeler accessories he's using like their yellow masking tape and the panel line accent paint! Nobody can carry out a restoration job like that unless you're a model builder!
I thought this thing genuinely looked trashed but then I saw the rust/corrosion on the wheels and then realised that they're plastic. It doesn't matter if it's painted brown and made to look worse because the way it end up finished is amazing!

Gotta love the 80s supercar icons of all time. I would like to obtain these classics sometime. My favourite countach is the 25th anniversary. I like the revised looks and it has some more crazy stuff in it. Love the wheels on it too. Its so good at looking cool. Also, you should've painted the wheels light grey. It matches with the red imo. Or just paint the body black and wing too. That also works. Anyways, great job! Love the countach!
in 1984 as an 18 year old young man, I won a contest to drive this car for 1 day. I drove it to high school, to work, then back to the dealership. I have to say your restoration is extravagantly detailed and accurate. Great work.
It looks like someone destroyed this one purpose!! Beautiful work on any level!! I don't understand why any one would do such a horrible thing to a toy except for the likes of a child. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us. It is truly inspiring to see others with the same passion as I have for repairing things and for cars.
I'd like the opening scene to be of these cars sitting in some trees with shrubs and overgrown brush, or on a trailer in a barn. It'd be like finding a real one that was abandoned. Very cool vid regardless!
My other Favorite classic Countach LP500-S, its a rare find not to mention you got all the Lamborghini's with exception Sesto Elemento, Centenario, the Ugly Veneno. But again the attention to detail is spot on awesome 👌 love it.
You have no idea the Lamborghini countach lp400 is a car I'm obsessed with and you did such an amazing job of capturing the essence of the Lamborghini countach
your artistic ability to make the models "look bad" is just as good as your "fixed look". Awesome modeling skills, it's a joy to watch!
Exactly! 👍🏻
Yeah I'd love to see the videos incorporate the "distressing" as well. The weathering is the best part of Luke Towan's or Laser Creation World's videos
love how he makes them has this brownish look on every single toy before "fixing" it 😂
I think he burns them in a dumpster after he runs them over
@@scottmartinetti4875 thats before he takes a massive shit on them

The little details you add is what makes you the best model car restorer.

Yeah him destroying cars on purpose before restoring them is just a misconception.
I dont think he does this man. This really looks like backyard sale cars. What if he gets all those cars from a shop? It really looks like normal.
Well, then this is OOAK for car models.

The way you add extra detail during the restoration is to be admired, great job as always, quality channel.
Looks better than original
Not only restore, improve details, that’s the differential value of this channel! Fantastic job

Any good restoration has to focus on the details.
especially considering the work he has to put in to make them look old in the first place 😜
The best your restoration 😎😎😎
Best restorer of diecast models on YT.

This car looks artificially "aged". Either way I guess it doesn't matter.
Most of these restoration videos look artificially aged. Those with a keen eye can spot it though.
My thoughts exactly.
@Zoes Dada That screw at 0:58 just looks too clean, too new...

Lamborghini countach
My Most Favorite 80s Sports Car Ever💕
not many can do that so amazing
Looks good after restoration. Italian sports cars are good looking cars
On the Countach, the windows did not open all the way, and this is not enough here. Without this, the restoration is just super.
Why do the salvaged toys always look the same? It seems as though the damage is contrived and your merely taking an existing toy and repainting it.
i believe they "ruined" more an old toy, so the process can be seen as more awesome than it would be
