Corrections has become a 'political punching bag'

Serco has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately, and today, the Law and Order Select Committee is set to pay a visit to the privately run prison in Wiri .
3 News political editor Patrick Gower joined Paul Henry this morning to discuss what this could mean for Serco.
"They will be going to have a look at First Security, which of course runs the GPS," says Gower. "So it's a chance for some of the lower-rung MPs essentially to go in and have a look around to see how some of these private operations are working.
"Corrections, since we first started talking about this not that long ago, has become a real political punching bag - there are problems all through that organisation."
