It’s a shame you can’t show all these cases. I see new ones from around the country almost daily. It’s usually someone who is in a position of trust like school, church, scouts, family, friends, etc. then there are the online strangers. When I was in school in the 80’s, 90’s people would drive around looking for kids. I had people offering me rides, etc. I had some get out of their car and try to get close to me. I had to run many times. I started hiding from cars if I was alone and it wasn’t a crowded street as a kid. It just got worse as I got to my teens. One guy grabbed my arm and tried to pull me in his truck after pulling out in front of me as I walked. I could imagine these types have gone online and they’re aggressive. I had fake badges shown to me and my friends while they to accused us of crimes and ‘take us in’, *_more than once._* No cell phones. You had to rely upon pay phones, businesses, or literally knock on strangers doors and ask them to call for help. They would run away when I would ask too many questions and mention a phone being nearby especially if there are people or cars in earshot. Most prefer easier catch and are cowards. Not all, some are more unhinged, violent, etc. some will even drug you to get their way. It doesn’t matter if you know them personally or not. I have been violated by people that I knew and someone that I didn’t know. Did the cops help? No. They weren’t usually nice about it either if they showed up. I gave them license plates because I started carrying paper and a small pencil in my pocket✏️ never had one follow up.

The reason you're seeing it more is that these stories are popular so they're covering it more. It's sensationalist so it brings in the clicks. Don't let it confuse you though, it's sensational because it's out of the norm. They don't cover male predators because no one cares enough to watch the videos.

The rate at which they aren't caught is a lot higher. That is more disturbing. Have come across the type of people who say, "This kid is going to be popular not traumatized." They are equally disturbing.
@@DannyD-nh5ch It's true that the dude will be popular, but the trauma catches up with him. Those guys tend to peak in high school and become losers and underperformers in their 20s and beyond. Many end up as substance abusers. When you are 29, no one cares that the teacher when you were 17 gave you a bj. People will thinks it's weird to even bring up the subject. Therefore they hide these details and it severely affects their relationships with women down the line.
The overwhelming majority of embezzlers are women, too, that's why they call it "pink-collar crime". The "chicks don't commit crimes" stereotype is a real problem and lets this stuff go on for a lot longer than it should.

This is a psychological issue, a lifetime prison sentence would not be enough of a deterrent. Society needs to adapt in a way that these people are able to get help and/or be stopped before they act on their desires instead of after.

I was friends with a teacher that seemed to be a good match for me. But she told me she wanted to look for someone much younger than herself. She always told me how good looking she was, so I assume that was the reason. She joined a religion that was part cult and found a guy about 12 years younger, married the guy and had a baby. He was in his early 20's not a former student. I have to assume vanity, and immaturity are the reasons.

I think it might be a similar reason to why older males want younger females, they want to mold them into exactly what they want because they are easily manipulated.

As a retired Correctional Officer of over 3+ decades, I completely disagree with the Justice System's flawed logic that has existed for a very long time that women should be treated differently from men when it comes to sentencing because women aren't inherently as bad in character as men. It’s usually someone who is in a position of trust like school, church, scouts, family, friends, etc. then there are the online strangers.
When I was in school in the 80’s, 90’s people would drive around looking for kids. I had people offering me rides, etc. I had some get out of their car and try to get close to me. I had to run many times. I started hiding from cars if I was alone and it wasn’t a crowded street as a kid.
It just got worse as I got to my teens. One guy grabbed my arm and tried to pull me in his truck after pulling out in front of me as I walked. I could imagine these types have gone online and they’re aggressive.
I had fake badges shown to me and my friends while they to accused us of crimes and ‘take us in’, *_more than once._* No cell phones. You had to rely upon pay phones, businesses, or literally knock on strangers doors and ask them to call for help. They would run away when I would ask too many questions and mention a phone being nearby especially if there are people or cars in earshot.
Most prefer easier catch and are cowards. Not all, some are more unhinged, violent, etc. some will even drug you to get their way. It doesn’t matter if you know them personally or not. I have been violated by people that I knew and someone that I didn’t know.
Did the cops help? No. They weren’t usually nice about it either if they showed up. I gave them license plates because I started carrying paper and a small pencil in my pocket✏️ never had one follow up.

I’m from this town and my sons went to this school. It really makes me look at teachers differently, had to have a talk with all my kids. Just insane how bad things are getting for kids.

These crimes against children should carry life sentences. I know form personal experience attraction to minors cannot be cured. My father was child molestor his entire life till the day he died. In those days children were not believed making it easy for these predators to have their way with children. These people are sick and they get these jobs in schools, churches etc, to give them direct access to children.
The parents of the boy should sue the teacher's estate. I would.
