I just bought another drag star vstar 650 I love these bikes my other one had 97000 miles never any issues cleaned the carbs once awesome bikes.i payed 1600$ from original owner 8000miles on it.good video stay safe
I have same bike 2004. Trip Odometer is your gas gauge. 0 out at fill up. It holds 4 gallons and gets about 50 miles to the gallon. Good luck and enjoy.
Great bike, gonna be my first bike! I was going to go with the 1900cc stratoliner or roadliner, but slowly coming to my senses..long sigh. Still might though, im gonna be learning in the parking lot and taking courses anyway before I hit the streets...is what the devil keeps whispering in my ear!😁 Be safe everyone, happy cruisin!
Hello! Thanks for watching. Be sure and get it a one over. This bike ended up needing a stator (think alternator but much harder to change) in 6 months. 😊
i love my V Star 650, I have many sports bikes and Tourers but I really like The V Star 650. Great video but sounds like your kicking the gears try pulling the clutch a little and neutral is easy to get.
There is an idiot light when you get low on fuel. So I try to push mine as far as I can once to see how far I can go on a full tank.(Carry a gas can or ride with a friend) Then you just set your tripometer every time you fill.
I too, own a 650 Classic Silverado. My windshield actually saved my face, on a few occasions. Ride long, ride hard, ride safe.🇨🇦😊
😎
Good basic description mate. Buying a Classic in the next couple of years. Keep the shiny side up and enjoy your wind therapy.
Thank you very much! Enjoy the new bike! Thanks for the subscription too!!

You won’t regret too little power, you may regret too little
Nice presentation bro. I'm wanting a starter bike. Would this be a good one. Thanks.

Right, I probably was! This was day 3 or so of riding a clutch motorcycle!
Where did you get the phone holder!
Ha! Bought it years ago on Amazon! Honestly wouldn’t recommend when things like RockForm exist.
Where did you get the luggage rack?
It came with the bike. I assumed it was stock.
How do you know how much gas u need?
norfillyson hello, yes it sucks! No gas tank, I use my odometer and refill around 120, that and you can also kinda feel it. Silly design

@@Octobiker All motorcycles were like this until around 2000. I started riding in 1970...never bothered me.
If u have saddle bags, u could easily just put a 12 ounce water bottle and fill it with gas and there u go. I forgot though this is rocket science.
It should be illegal mentioning Kymco in same sentence as yamaha drag star 🙂.
