Which is why I think they should have gone down the stylised route of the game graphics rather than the shaders ultra realistic version, it’s kinda like how Disney thinks people want to see their CGI remakes when the charm of the original animation is what gives it the magic. If they somehow went like full horror movie mode with this or like dark scary comedy with the VFX maaaaaaybeeee it could work with some substance behind it, but I don’t think they’ve down that direction either :(

i honestly don't mind the style of the film. i get that the humans look out of place but i can get over it. i do think the film isn't perfect though however, the pink sheep and the llama could defiantly use a redesign, and for Jack Black, i do think he will do an amazing job as Steve, but i do wish they would make him more game accurate. apart from that though, I'm looking forward to watching this next year.

Honestly I want a bunch of middle schoolers to watch this and absolutely roast the movie teaser entirely. If they don’t want adult to judge then let’s have kids do it so they can’t use the excuse of “it’s made for kids.

The animation style for Minecraft story mode looked better than this. been playing Minecraft for 10 years now, and this is just disappointing.
