When looking at data you have to remember quality of data. And with crime rate, reported murder vs actual murder is what causes the list to look weird. South africa has some of the highest murder rates in Africa but that's because there's infrastructure to report it. There are definitely places with murder rates far higher but nobody can, will or wants to report it.
