Thanks very much. I have made a wooden car. I wanted to freehand draw some people inside but the angle of the bonnet makes it physically awkward. I will do my artwork and then use this method to transfer it .

Once you have used the tracing paper, why not just put a sheet of carbon paper between the tracing paper and regular paper? Tracing that way will give you a perfect impression

There are 2 types of tracing paper. There is tracing paper (used for artists to just draw) then thermal paper which tattoo artists use. Thats where the carbon paper comes in. You dont need the carbon paper unless you plan to transfer it to skin

she essentially made the tracing paper into carbon by shading the back, so I'm sure it would work the same, just a little more expensive.

You can put the carbon paper in between the image and the paper you want to draw it on and trace over the image.
