Incredible realism. I worked for CPRail on the Lyndonville Sub for 24 years and watching this video was like stepping back in time. Masterful!

My main Rail-fanning years were 1974' to 1995', I drove countless miles all over New England, NY & PA , I'm so glad I saw all of this and more before it was all gone !! It was the Best times, so many 1st/2nd gen Diesels and great Branch line and mainline action with Alcos, EMD & GEs,. Now it's mostly look alike Wide Cab Rolling computers with little style and so much of the fun interesting branch lines are all gone along with most of the industry and local freight business with it !! Very sad, well thank God for Slides and photos ! : D
Great job on the layout !! : )

This has to be the most authentic model railroad I’ve seen on TH-cam... and I’ve seen quite a few. Love those M630s chugging away. The scenery is brilliant and the videography is breathtaking. Outstanding work. Had me fooled for a few seconds in the beginning 😁

Great model railroad, there is nothing quite like Alcoa’s on the rails. Beautiful job on your scenery as well as well.

Neil, you have an outstanding layout. I hope you are able to have regular operating sessions or at least run trains as often as you can. The scenery is excellent, and the weathering of everything is second to none. Thank you for sharing your artistic talents with us. You have done an excellent job of blending in the backdrops. You should be very "proud" of your accomplishments.

Another great clip, spotted a few new details too. Overhead pipe work and a new, nicely weathered B&M 40ft trailer. Keep the clips coming .

Love it! Gorgeous modeling and great job capturing the railfan's excitement of behemoth locos pounding rails normally traversed only by 4-axles... reminds me of seeing ST's SD45's in northwestern mass. in early 90's!! Congrats & Thanks for sharing your excellent work and keep it up please!!!!

Outstanding Neil! I just realized that I haven't been getting YT notifications, but just stumbled upon this. I'm glad I did! Really beautiful modeling, and I love seeing the big 6-axles on your line. Also, I really appreciate the way you have your power configured. Really smooth starts and stops in all your videos. Very nice!

Outstanding, Neil! Great stack talk switching on the return trip at Orleans...all that's missing is the smoke! By the way, the red Gremlin parked there is perfect!

Very nice. I really your videos...I can put them on in the background, and do work...Just listening to the sounds and periodically glancing at the screen to see the beautiful scenes and equipment. Question: Are those commercial backdrops? If so, I might be able to use them for my SR&RL layout.

A trio of "bigs" lifting their tonnage from a stand still was always an awesome sight. Nice work you have there in motive power.

Fantastic video ........ the first shot at Orleans could pass for the real thing. All modeling looks top-notch ........ 5 stars!! The motor control on those MLW's is very good and very realistic. What type video camera do you use and do you use supplemental lighting? Your focus and depth of field is amazing. Great job and thank you for sharing! Mike
