Probably the best review I’ve seen on this lens so far. I appreciate all the samples, very helpful.
Thanks. I enjoyed the review, images and your composition pros and cons.
What's your favorite cheap lens? Post it in the comments below!
My fav is nifty fifty. Especially for night photography and portrait.
right now I'm still learning with a Rebel t6 and using the 10-18 and 24mm on nature walks
Panasonic 25mm f/1.7. beautiful and very capable lens.
Olympus 25mm f/1.8 (their nifty fifty equivalent).
The Kamlan 50mm f/1.1 manual focus lens
The black and white photo at 17min is just amazing !!!!!
Very simple and helpful review with a lot of samples. This video made me save at least 1000 dollars because I was planning to buy the 24mm 1.4. But honestly I don’t think I need it seeing your samples I’m going to stick with my pancake for a while.
Just a very terrific video. I don't think I've seen anyone post so much information about this lens. Great job.
Thank you so much for watching my video. I really hoped it helped you. If you haven’t subscribed to the channel yet, please do so to get more videos like this one.
what wide angle lens do you recomend instead for architecture photography?
Man thanks for the vid this is a real class you put the info sec f iso cool man thanks alot I wonder if could set this info in the T6
Great video! Thanks!
Very very instructive, just bought a 6d i was lost, and you lighted up my way. Thank you 🙏
Wow! Glad to hear I was able to help. Have a great day and thanks for watching my video! :)
This is one of my favorite b roll lenses for filming my tech reviews.
Thank You from Thailand 😍
great video, i like this lens a lot! my camera is SL3
very talented photographer!
Will the Canon EF-S 24mm f2.8 STM fit onto a full Frame body like the 5D? I know it's designed for APS-C bodies, but I've read competing views as to whether it will actually fit onto a full frame body, albeit with some vignetting.
Universities around here always have interesting sites for shooting. I did my engagement shoot at UCI. They have a tree with massive exposed roots that always makes for interesting scenery.
I know that tree you're talking about!
Have you done shoots there too?
For people new. This is effectively 38mm and can only be used on crop sensors
Man amazing photos i like more the girl walking by you got her just in the middle of the scene
Walk with one fixed lens is good for progress as a photographer. I walk sometimes with 25/1.7 on micro 4/3, sometimes sister pankake 40/2.8 on FF Canon, Sigma 30/1.4 on 70D. It's much more interesting than zooooming
Nice vid i gonna buy that lens when i got money gahaha
hello i don't understand why you are using such high speed
The vignetting is pretty bad ar 2.8 unfortunately.
its 35 right at 70d !?
Nope, I think it's almost equivalent to 39 mm for the field of view.
Wa
GREAT I NOTICE THE ISO NEVER CHANGED.
yeah man
actually realizing that all these "photographers" and online course "teachers" don't have a clue about photography or how to make a good photograph. it's just sad.
I am late to this but this was clearly one of the best videos on this lens. This might just make me get this one instead of the newer, more expensive lens. Thanx mate!
