LEVEL UP: I finally figured out how to post a trot without stirrups on my giant half lease warmblood

So my trainer likes to alternate from a "fun" lesson (jumping, etc) to a "back to basics" lesson (flatwork and, of course, STIRRUPLESS work).
This week we did our back to basics lesson and while at first I was terrified to try again to ride the trot without stirrups (last time we had to do it on a longe line because my steering was atrocious), the lesson took a turn that I definitely did not expect.
I couldn't be more thankful for such an incredible trainer, and such a patient and wonderful horse like Beau.
The moral of this weird story is: DO THE THING. You might just surprise yourself. Thank you for joining me and see you next week!
