It'd be useful to have the torch at the other end so holding the torch to the shoulder means the bag is ready to be swung at the illuminated target, etc..

Got this minus the copper button and charger for $20 on wish. Rubber button instead. Was bummed out about charger until I got rechargeable batteries with charger for $6 on wish. One of the few times I was happy with wish. Lol

Any chance you can do a vid on the internals. Mine doesn't lock into place anymore, whether opened or closed. Not sure if I've lost an internal part, or how the mechanism works to hold it in place when twisting it. Cheers.
Daniel L yes there is an internal part that fell out when I initially tried to unscrew the piece near the handle hard to explain but I can make a quick video if you are interested.

Appears to have a lot of grip surface, texture, on the front for your target to pull it out of your hand.
The surface they will be grabbing will hurt their hand.
I would recommend training yourself to avoid it being grabbed in the first place.

The difference to a baseball bat and flashlight to a baton is that the sole purpose of a baton is being a weapon.

My issue is these baseball bat flashlights are not very bright.

Yes very much so.
You are right the bottom stuck I can't get in to change the battery and I ended putting gorrila tape around it so it won't keep extending. There's absolutely no other way in to get the battery
...Or serious self-defense tool....?
It is only 100 lumens and with the extension all the way out, you lose most of the light down to a tiny point so not great to help with situational awareness unless you are trying to keep a small rabbit away from you! I was interested because I live in town and we do have coyotes so when I take my dogs out at night having something to fend them off with that is also a light source would be great, but it might be good for fending off but I think a regular tactical light and my police riot club are more effective as I get the same reach while not losing so much of the light and therefore visibility.
I use it to shine address'. It is a great feature.

Seriously I wouldn't bother with these. I got the exact same one a while back and ended up throwing it out. It is very light and very poorly made. I reckon it wouldn't survive swatting a fly! Also the light itself is really crap. Don't waste your money and just get a maglite or something similar.

Grab the guard at the top of the handle and twist counter clockwise it should begin to spring out.
