As I have moved along, I have found that my week actually goes around Friday. Thursday evening is my cut off for housework and errands. Even all by myself, I have a lovely relaxing dinner and program. Do love to learn and watch Shabbat preps.

I really enjoy watching your videos. I've seen other preparing for Shabbat and I feel yours are more realistic. I think it is a nice tradition that families do this every week. At least as your children get older they will have this time with their family.

Love how you use so many fresh veggies in your cooking. It's nice when the flowers last well, but yeah the new flowers look so dramatic and cheerful. Zach looks content after nursing and he is doing so well with neck muscles control. Your older two boys are starting to learn how to put their things away, so that is a benefit. The salad you made looks particularly delicious.

Hi Marion, I am so glad that you're doing these Shabbat prep videos. Love looking at all your grocery haul. A friend told me about the liter bottle of the 365 Brand of EVOO at Whole Foods. I've been using it ever since, such a bargain and so good. And I caught a glimpse of your ruffled Annieglass bowl there at the end!

Thank you so much! Yes on Fridays they do eat on the China but they don't seem to harm it at all, if they did I'd just use their plates like I do most nights but for whatever reason they're careful lol!

@My Jewish Mommy Life - Perhaps your mother in law might have a company name for the pattern she used for the needlepoint. Most of those images have a pattern that’ll outline the stitches to be made and the color of thread to be used. I have a few different Shabbat cover images in the Judaica Needlepoint books I have, but I don’t have that exact pattern. If she’s willing to share the source of the pattern (book, designer, leaflet number or website name), those of us into needlepoint could make our own similar to it.

Marion...OMG, you did you really pay $6.49 / lb for chopmeat just have to someone form them into balls!! Those balls arent really even that round! Why not just buy regular chop meat and have the kids form hem into balls. smh
