@@youthoughtiwasjotarobutitw8642 He's saying that the name he had, Immortal Tatsu was obvious.
It's not just the name, it's the part where Joey said he likes Yakuza slang but Tyson grills him and makes him admit he doesn't know many. Tyson is a human bullshit detector. He would make it in any rough neighborhood in the civilized world.
@@thaloh It's pretty obvious though... You're going to someone because you know very little about something, proceeds to say something about thing you know very little about is cool. One question was all it took to figure that out and it's done. Most people can do this. Most people should also be a little bit more ciritical about the stuff people are saying to them as well though.
Just blown by the mentality. "If you think Yakuza language is cool, then you should be able to give 3 examples in an instant. Be honest."
He takes no bullshit at all. But seems respectful at the same time. I really can dig that.
Common trick, indirect insult. You can weazel your way out or confront.
Are you a leader or follower? That is what he Is testing. Or a bullshitter, a third option is also available.
to be fair id be too stressed to remember examples even if i think it's cool
I was honestly stunned by that holy shit
Literally the "Oh you like Anime? Then name every show" meme
@@kaito9836 if you were a TRUE fan you'd be able to name ten things, you PHONY
The interview started out a bit tense but it really felt to see him talk about the anime Joey was cosplaying and hear him speak openly about his experiences
"Everything in those games are exxagerated"
"There are some that'll punch you if you meet their eyes"
You have those even among common everyday strangers XD
They are all just humans, yakuza or katagi, at the bottom of theyre heart and mindset theyre humans. A yakuza tho would atleast try avoid having trouble with civilians and rather be organized about what they're doing. So probably higher chance to get stabbed or beaten up by a random dude.
I feel like most of those people wouldn't admit it but a lot of them are just so traumatised that they become like caged wounded animals, it's where the whole nurture over nature argument comes in. If you have only ever been communicated to in violence you only know that method of communication, so in gangs especially you have a culture that has historically perpetuated violence while operating under the guise of 'family' that is targeted towards lost and abused youth, this is where you see the 'charity' gangs that do good in the community because the government has long since lost its interest.
State and foster care seem to do little to abate these concerns with the rife sexual, physical and mental abuse toward children in an already unstable environment it is kind of hard not to expect groups that prey on peoples weaknesses to exist.
Joey looked scared af when the dude started asking for his name XD
@Dragon *no* prolly not . .prolly
I mean, I'm just watching a video, but I was really scared too
You could see it in his body language for sure. Joey kinda reaches for his ID, whether or not he actually has it he feels weird about showing it either way, so he just does this little reach and says no I don't have it. To be fair, I'd be intimidated as well. I wouldn't show any current or former gang member any sort of ID, whether Eastern Yakuza or Western Gangs/Mafia. No thanks, you don't need to know me lol
Time stamp pls?
@Dragon anyone can carry those and if you saw the whole video it doesn't look like this guy wants to stab anyone and do time, sure he's intimidating af but I don't see why he would stab him for a silly joke, like I said he prolly wouldn't. . . prolly
The aura this man gives of is truely terrifying, mad respect for being able to sit next to an Austrailian!
😂

Ngl I respect Tyson a lot, he noticed something wrong or a potential disrespectful behavior and corrected as as needed with the right amount of intensity. we need more people like that in America, imagine your friends telling you what you are doing wrong and correct you, so you don't look like a fool
Joey: "I don't feel... intimidated. You're unexpectedly ordinary."
Yakuza: We're gonna fix that
Joey the rest of the interview: *visible discomfort*
Tyson: “ you want me to scare you?”
Joeu: Intimidated it is
When Joey said "I don't feel intimated", he just basically asked for it💀💀💀
@@maximusrobinson4678 The way he actually delivered the "you want me to scare you?" with that deadly facial expression was holy shit. It wasn't over the top, because it was real.
He was pretty much uncomfortable the whole show tho..
he was literally the same
Joey: I'm the Inmortal Tatsu.
Tyson: Let's put that statement to the test.
I panicked when he asked for Joey's ID like for real
Let's celebrate that joey is still alive and breathing after this interview.
are you sure about that?
We'll have to see if he uploads another video to make sure
He got beat on the street after this
The worst scenario of the interview wouldve been Joey having some balls to drop the politeness, questioning his bluntness then Tyson quitting the interview because he "doesnt wanna waste time". Probably???
for now
The guest here is really interesting with all the information he gave in giving more of a real world view of what the yakuza is like, I perosnally only knew it via the yakuza video game series. Learning more of how the words and lingo they used and how its broken down some is a new light I wouldn't have thought of along with the other interesting stories and lessons Mr.Tyson gave in the video be it the story on the one mans finger, or what he did to help the hostess. Along with his tips on giving a proper and respectful interview is something I'm going to keep in mind forba long time. As a first time watcher, this video has definitely left me wanting to see more of your content. Thank you.
