Nick is a perfect Candidate for a new Demon. He represents the Dodge brand perfectly. The problem is Dodge and their Dealerships are out of touch with the true Mopar customers.

Michael Wallbrown your president was born in Canada but has done nothing but good even before he was president . Look up how many Americans have jobs that work for companies that trump owns developers he has supported and oil prices that are now steady and have millions of Americans employed thank you sorry not nick for talking politics here. I fix all makes and models of cars trucks and semi’s love being a mechanic. Without us the world would stop moving, and I honestly love mechanical challenges ! Great or even good mechanic are hard to come by now days and the young men and women now days or start in this business need to be Encouraged to constantly increase their knowledge of old and new!

Old comment I know, but wanted to share with you that I too lost my grandpa, around the same time you lost yours it sounds like. I'm sure he'd be very happy to know you're also developing a passion for this.
My grandpa was a mechanic all his life, and was also into the drag scene. He taught me everything I know about wrenching on classic muscle cars, and seeing Nick's knowledge and passion kinda makes me feel like he's around again... I hope you also get some of that from these videos. Take care my man

There is so many things that go on in the restoration of a car. Those who chose to do it for a life time should have a chance to see thier dreams make them happy. For myself started at age 10 farm equipment to anything that had a wheel I'm 60 now had a colasped lung in 2013 from hard work everytime I hear an engine scream it pumps me up.I do a little of wrenching now but I will never stop.

I am an automotive machinist living in Nova Scotia. I did my apprenticeship in Ontario and had the pleasure of working in some great shops building some very interesting engines. I love watching your dyno runs and see if I can guess what the final numbers are going to be.
Building engines is one of the most satisfying jobs there is. When I was in it, the pay was crap compared to other jobs and during racing season the hours were long, but I still didn't want to do anything else. Picking the parts for the right combination, machining everything and then assembling it all into a complete engine that runs just the way the customer wanted, or better, is the best feeling in the world. Then sitting downtown or at the track and the car goes by and you say, "I built that one." with pride.
Every time you fire and run one of those engines up on the dyno, I get goosebumps.
I especially like the stock engine runs, just to see what they really had. One I'd like to see tested is a 351 Cleveland with closed chamber 2 bbl heads, aluminium 4bbl intake and a mild street build.
    Keep up the great work.

"The same passion...." absolutely! Love your channel sir....found it 5/1/2019 while researching a 1968 Charger. I have a very small channel where I talk about my love for old Dodge Trucks, and even have a BBQ on my ranch every year to celebrate with others. I have raced a 72 Charger Stock Car, raced my 1950 Dodge race prepped Truck at Bonneville and have owned several Dodge muscle cars. At 55 years old, my love for vintage cars and trucks hasn't slowed down. Thank you for a quality channel and your shop's quality of work. Hope I too, have a chance to meet you someday.

I love how are you have the American and Canadian flags side by side in your shop Nick, that's cool buddy. I'm sorry that the Chrysler dealer wouldn't sell you a demon but they were special order cars so I can see their point, but it doesn't make it any easier. I would like to have got one as well, but it wasn't possible at this time. unfortunately there were some guys that weren't lifetime Mopar guys like us that ended up with them just to flip them and gouge people, and that really sucks because they have more money than heart

I am stunned you had a slant six that was hard to start. My 64 valiant was starting when newer cars would not during a really cold spell back in the 70's. I think it was only -10 in the daytime for two weeks. I was going around after work jump starting them with my rusty old Valiant. It was a neat car, 2 door hardtop, bucket seats and four speed trans.
I later owned two other cars with the slant six, they always started.

Corporations and Dealerships are getting bad about limited Edition Vehicles. They can sell all of them especially special orders. I'm sick of car hoarders that have millions of dollars and just flip them. Where I live in Tennessee I know of at least one 68 Charger that is sitting and rusting in front of a guys house because they always try to low ball him. Now it is not for sale! Keep up the good work Nick!

Hi Nick, we had the same problem you encountered with Ford dealerships who sold limited production Fords to "Flippers" - which is very popular in the US and these "investors" and "speculators" are destroying the camaraderie and the connection that vintage/muscle car lovers and hobbyists shared for so many years. I guess that it is the "American Way" to make money but it is driving the true performance lovers away. Peace be with you Nick, I will see you with my car come spring, Ciao, L

2: 05 When Ford released the next iteration of the GT, they wrote into their contracts that buyers couldn't resale the cars. They did that just for that reason, maybe Chrysler shoulda done that

Funny story. In the late 1970s Myself and a friend of mine took care of parts for a surface or strip mining company. Back then CB radios were a big thing. One evening on the way home the guys on the radio were arguing Ford and Chevy going on how one was better than another. At any rate my friend Reg picked up the mike and said I would rather be standing beside the road in a pouring rain with a Chrysler hub cap in my hand, then to ride in a Chevy! It broke me up at the time.

True story this, in about 1973 I knew a hairdresser that was only 24 at the time (naturally he was far younger than moi lol). He wanted very badly a V12 E-type convertible. He had a hair saloon in an expensive suburb and made big $$$s from the wealthy clientele. Also, he used to do the hair of these wealthy women at home any time they called day or night. He worked hard and was going places.
Anyhow he walked into the local Jaguar dealer and said "I'd like to buy a V12 E-TYPE convertible."
The salesman replied, "Wouldn't we all sunny," and walked off.
He had cash in an overnight bag.
Well it doesn't end there, he makes it to London England. Lady Lyons the wife of Sir William was one of his customers. Needless to say he ended up with his convertible. Jaguars even serviced it for free when he was in London. Eventually it was shipped here. I don't know what ever happened to it, but i bet it is still about.

This must be a systemic failure. In Eastern NC, a Dodge dealer had a serious hearing problem when a woman tried to order a yellow Charger. Not a blue one, the man behind the desk was pushing on her. The blue one was sitting on his lot. Nearest yellow unit was in the Midwest somewhere, I think Indiana. The salesman was also behaving inappropriately by ignoring the woman and talking to the husband sitting next to her. That became a problem. He was informed of his shortcoming before the couple left his office. The couple flew out to pick up the yellow Charger a few days later and drove it back home with a short stop by the dealer to show them what they got from someone who was willing to do what the customer asked them for. I worked with the husband until he retired last year.

It's Fiat that needs to see this and I believe THEY DO NOT wish to view what Generations and family devotion has to do with selling cars? That's The New Dodge we have even today? Any other car maker sould have respected this mans devotion to pure American Muscle not just Fiat ? Chrysler seems to dizzy from DODGE-ing him.

You are a role model for so many young men and women who are following yours and your brothers footsteps. You folks are solid gold, down to earth, wholesome role models indeed and at a time when the world needs that more than ever. Growing up in the 50, 60s it was the norm. My military son after 3 yrs. piloting a gunship in Bosnian & 3 more yrs. piloting medivac chopper in Irac decided to reward himself with a brand new 4wheel drive Buick Lecross. Entering a dealer in Columbus Georgia he stated that he was ready to buy, pay cash and close the deal. Salesman said they didn't order 4wdrive models in GA. Leaving there he contacted his younger brother in Indianapolis, Indiana. Went to dealer there, was informed that only 2 cars like he wanted, fully loaded, & 4wd existed in the country, both thousands of miles out of state. When dealer realized my son was military vet, dealer traded for the Black one he wanted, waved the trade, transportation, and dealer prep fees and gave him military discount and his brother's railroader discount. Returning to Georgia he went to dealer there that refused his purchase, showed General Manager that they could have made same sale and laughed with glee as mgr. FIRED salesman on the spot!!! I am sure there is a Dodge dealer somewhere that would love to assist Nick in same manor and earn his business and all his " referrals" for future customers. Go gettem Nick!
