I am excited to see what you two are cooking up over there! I am sure it is going to be awesome. You will love drifting it all over and sliding it around and into things!! I know when the "tires" are brand new it will be very touchy and a bit harder to control but once they get good and scuffed in it will be a lot more controllable! I still need to get one of these for my collection as my old drift car (like 16 years old now) has a blown diff I can't find parts for so I do need to get another. I am keeping my eyes peeled to see what it turns into!
Yeah a few of these kits do seem to be floating around, some even come with shells, but the price is all over the show for it. It’s a nice model, for now we ran it with normal tyres because we need to find a good surface, but it is a hoot😆😂👍
This is a cool kit I like what comes with it, beauty of this chassis it’s going to have a few different shells and tyre combos
I learned e brake pulls in my moms 86 ford American escort on gravel farm roads.L back in 1995.. I learned how to drift on gravel too with my 77 Pontiac Bonneville. I’m glad I learned that stuff young and got it out of my blood. That being said I do like to slide my gmc around first snow storm 😁 this car is gonna be cool .
I think I worry about sliding my car around as I’m convinced I’d stuff it into something 😂 To be honest this car is good 🤫😂👍

The kit is more a pimped up TT02 chassis, with a few extras. The review is always FOC 🤣😂😂
Looking forward to a little drifting action! Hand brake turns we’re all the rage in the student car park at college back in the day! It was a right of passage if you had a 87 Mini 😂
I know some of the older lads had Vauxhall Chevettes and the odd Nova and they would be up to all kinds of stuff. I had a Clio, which is where I learned to never buy a French car again 😆😂👍

No these had to be purchased separately, most of the time these are extras, so you can use what you prefer 👍
25 kg kind of an overkill for this car isn't it?
Personally I like the 25kg servo, it’s heavy duty and not that much more expensive 👍
Bigger the better I say, the servo speed can be turned down on the controller. And also in the future the servo might be used on another vehicle
I just bought an RZ motor I'm putting it on my fighting buggy.
RZ is Tanitas 2nd best motor in my opinion 👍
@@RCsoandso it's the fastest of the super stocks go to Tamia base and it goes through the motors or most of the motors and tells you their RPM and it actually has the highest RPM of the TZ and the bz which I have both of in different cars.
@@bradkalman2353 I love the BZ and I find it always out performs the RZ in the real world
Wats the difference between the kit on its own vs the kit with a shell?
Mainly there is a small price saving and allows you to buy the shell you want really. Apart from that the kit is the same 👍
@@RCsoandso thanks. What's confusing is that right now it's actually cheaper to get a kit with a shell. At least in Australia.

Hi there and welcome to the OAP driving club 😂😂😂😂I’ve been driving for just over 34 years now, in my former life I was an engineer on the road covering the UK, so did in excess of 60k miles per year 😮. I also did went to Silverstone Rally School, and after a taster session, got hooked into rally driving and tried to become an amateur rally driver, but alias, money and sponsorship became an issue, but at least I was able to learn to drift, hand brake turn and out run the rozzers! 😂😂😂😂 you’re going to enjoy the drift versions and with the extra high performance components, it’s going to be a hoot! Scale rallying is cheaper, just. Should be fun trying this chassis out with different set ups. Evading the POPO is a key driving skill, especially the emergency brake to get down to 30mph for a speed trap 😆😂👍

Do you get everything you need for it to start running all you would need is a shell?
Pretty much, just a shell servo and see if an ESC is supplied. Good to go, well apart from battery and radio gear 👍

If you are running a normal brushed motor a 7.2v NiMH is best for this. Lipo is mainly used for brushless motors, but the Torque Tuned motor that comes with this is brushed 👍
