You are correct that regulations vary by state and country.
Yes, new box truck owners need to pay careful attention to that detail.
I’m curious what you favorite BTB idea is?
If I had to choose one, I like tool rental because not many people are doing that. The space is pretty open.
How many trucks do you think it would take to be a millionaire?
Haha, that's tough to answer, but here is a wack at it... The number of trucks you'd need to own depends on profit margins, operational costs, and market demand. Assuming you made an average net profit of $100,000 per truck annually, you'd need 10 trucks operating efficiently for one year to earn $1 million (before taxes). Note that you would need to achieve consistent profit and maintain trucks in operational condition for this to happen.
The text box trucks hecks yes

I think I am going to advertise on the side of my truck and get another truck or two as well.
Can't go wrong with advertising on the side of a box truck.
What size truck would you recommend I start with?
This, of course, depends on the type of box truck business you're operating, but for starting out maybe you want a medium-sized truck (16 to 26 feet). This size offers a good balance between maneuverability in urban settings and cargo capacity, making it versatile for various types of deliveries. Overall, your choice of truck should align with the specific needs of your target market and the types of goods you plan to transport.
If you had to guess, what would total cost be for a BTB??
It's difficult to say, because there are so many different factors, e.g. what exactly you're doing with your box truck, but operating a single box truck might cost between $50,000 to $80,000 annually, considering factors like fuel, maintenance, insurance, driver's wage, and other operational expenses.
Would you recommend an LLC for a box truck business?
It's always best to speak to an attorney, but in my experience, yes, an LLC provides personal asset protection against business debts and liabilities. Also, LLCs offer flexibility with taxes and can simplify business operations and management as well.
Where is the best place to purchase a box truck?
For new box trucks, brand-specific dealerships like Ford, Chevrolet, or Isuzu are often the best choice due to manufacturer warranties and a variety of financing options. For used box trucks, online marketplaces like Commercial Truck Trader or local dealerships offering certified pre-owned vehicles are recommended.
What you think of cargo van?
Love the cargo van. Think of a cargo van as the perfect middle ground... It's roomy enough for most jobs but still zips around town without guzzling gas like a large box truck. Plus, parking's way easier with a van than the larger trucks.
@@SweatVenturecargo vans are just as efficient IMO
This is an absolutely terrible idea. Booking these gigs means more and more independent drivers competing for work, driving down pay, unnecessarily burning fuel (costs!) and clogging up the roads increasing traffic problems.
More individual delivery gigs equals more pollution because of far worse efficiency.
Try working full time for Amazon with your box truck and see how much you end up after paying for your fuel, maintenance and mileage deteriorating your vehicle, not to mention _what is your time worth?_ Are you going to work for free for a trillion dollar company??
You work all day for pennies!
Don't jump into anything like this without looking deep into it. Listening to overly optimistic TH-cam videos and individual anecdotes is the first step to personal ruin.
You don't have to work for Amazon, that's the point of this video. You can work independently. Also, it's highly unlikely that extra box trucks on the road are going to make the pollution issue much worse. Until massive countries like China make industrial changes, the pollution situation is likely to remain how it is now. Just curious, what do you do for work, Keith?
